Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans has had her fair share of challenges and triumphs throughout the years, especially when it comes to her love life.

She tied the knot with David Eason in September 2017, right after their daughter Ensley was born. Before saying "I do," Evans had gone through some turbulent relationships, including having a son, Jace, with her ex-boyfriend Andrew Lewis and another son, Kaiser, with her ex-boyfriend Nathan Griffith.

In her 2017 memoir, Read Between the Lines, Evans shared that during her teenage years, she struggled with a sex addiction.

She admitted, "I didn't care about protection or who it was with. I would do anything to make sure a guy stayed with me, so I used sex as a way to manipulate them."

Evans became pregnant with her boyfriend's baby at the young age of 16. She gave birth to Jace in August 2009, but her boyfriend, Lewis, has been mostly absent in their son's life despite his promise to help raise him. In a recent episode of Teen Mom 2 in January 2019, it was revealed that Lewis was trying to reach out to Evans because he wanted to see Jace. He expressed his regret to Evans' mother, Barbara, who now has custody of Jace, for missing out on important moments in his son's life and wondered about his well-being.

Delp and Evans were in an on-again, off-again relationship from 2010 to 2012. They met at a beach party in North Carolina and started dating shortly after. Their relationship was filled with ups and downs, as seen on Teen Mom 2 where they even got arrested for breaking and entering and drug possession in October 2010. Despite splitting up in 2011, they briefly got back together the next year. However, in September 2012, the 16 and Pregnant alum confirmed that they had ended things for good. Over five years later, Delp faced legal trouble for allegedly running a meth lab and ended up accepting a plea deal in August that required him to serve 18 to 36 months in a state correctional institution.

Head and Evans were initially connected in December 2011 and eventually became engaged in May 2012. Unfortunately, the engagement was called off just two weeks later. According to a source, "He got involved with another girl during a break, and she just found out and reacted strongly." Despite their separation, the pair remained in touch and found themselves both being arrested in June of the same year following a physical altercation at her residence in North Carolina.

Rogers and Evans became engaged in November 2012, just two months after they started dating. They quickly got married in a courthouse ceremony in December, but unfortunately, their relationship ended in January. Despite briefly reuniting, the couple faced legal issues in April 2013 for heroin possession and assault. Evans eventually filed for divorce from her then-husband in May, but due to a North Carolina law mandating a year-long legal separation, their divorce wasn't finalized until June 2014.

Evans and Griffith connected on Tinder in June 2013, and shortly after, she discovered she was pregnant with their son Kaiser in June 2014. During a vacation in St. Thomas in January 2015, Griffith surprised Evans with a proposal, leaving her stunned. However, their relationship took a turn for the worse when Griffith was arrested for domestic violence in April of the same year. Despite a brief separation following the incident, Evans confirmed their reconciliation to Us in June 2015. Unfortunately, the reunion was short-lived, and the couple ended their relationship for good two months later.

David Eason

Evans first met Eason on Tinder in September 2015. The couple discovered she was pregnant in April 2016, but unfortunately, she experienced a miscarriage. However, they were blessed with their daughter, Ensley, shortly after.

In February 2017, Evans and Eason got engaged and then got married in September of the same year. A year after their wedding, Evans made a distress call to 911, alleging that her husband had assaulted her outside their home. She later clarified the incident as a "drunk and dramatic misunderstanding" and reassured her fans that she was okay.

In February 2019, there were rumors that the couple was splitting up when she updated her Facebook status to “Separated.” An insider revealed that Evans and Eason were having disagreements but had not officially ended their relationship.

By March 2024, Evans decided to file for separation from Eason. She made it clear that she wanted the separation to be permanent due to Eason's troubling behavior towards her during their marriage.

Evans explained the reason behind choosing separation over divorce. In a TikTok video, she mentioned that in North Carolina, a legal separation is required for a year before filing for divorce. This separation also necessitates having two separate addresses. However, since neither of them wanted to leave, Evans opted for a legal separation known as "separation by bed and board."
