The shoes will be available for purchase in Japan and in other select stores across the world. The colorways will also be offered via the official online stores of the shoe company as well. Additional information can be derived from the official announcement and illustration uploaded by Takashi Kojima.
In the illustration, four different colors of the same sneaker can be spotted. Fans can also see Monkey D. Luffy in his Gear 5 state - white-colored appearance and cloud-like particle effects with sneakers all over.
The shoe bears a striking resemblance to Puma's classic Classic Suede line, which was first introduced in 1968. Over the years, the sportswear brand has made slight tweaks to this enduring design. Fans of the collaboration with One Piece appreciate the tasteful update to the original sneaker.

The iconic Puma logo now features a minor tweak - the outline of the logo showcases a design reminiscent of the particle effects observed on Luffy in Gear 5. These sneakers will come in white with a white logo, red with a red logo, maroon with a white logo, and classic black with a black logo accented with gold trim.
The sneakers in this collection are designed to resemble either a character or a group of pirates, making them quite unique. The white colorway features the Nika logo on the tongue, inspired by Luffy in Gear 5. The red-colored sneaker, with the blue logo, could also be a nod to Luffy in his normal state.
On the other hand, the black colorway may be a subtle reference to the Blackbeard Pirates. The maroon sneaker showcases three claw marks, clearly inspired by Red-haired Shanks. Fans eagerly await further updates on the One Piece X Puma collaboration.
Stay tuned for more anime and manga news as 2024 progresses.
