Therefore, it would be ideal for the anime to take a break in December 2023 and resume in January 2024 with the Egghead storyline. Surprisingly, One Piece fans are actually in favor of this option and appreciate it.

Rather than resorting to filler arcs or slowing down the storytelling, fans are much more open to the idea of the anime taking an extended break. Hence, taking a complete hiatus appears to be the optimal resolution.
