Rainbow Six Siege was first released in 2015 (2020–2022 for certain platforms) as a reboot of the Rainbow Six series, which is loosely based on the novel of the same name by renowned American author Tom Clancy. What sets this game apart from its predecessors and other shooters is its focus on gameplay inspired by real-life counterterrorism organizations, rather than a prominent narrative. Although it initially faced criticism for its lack of content at release, Rainbow Six Siege has addressed this issue over the past eight years with the introduction of several DLC packs.

Recently, the official Rainbow Six Siege Twitter account shared a 42-second clip unveiling the new DLC. The video showcases Saif Al Hadid, also known as Oryx, who made his debut in the Operation Void Edge update, donning the classic attire of WWE athlete Roman Reigns. Additionally, Eliza "Ash" Cohen makes an appearance, sporting the distinctive look of wrestler Rhea Ripley. Both characters take turns displaying a combination of martial arts and dance moves inside an empty wrestling arena, accompanied by vibrant pink pyrotechnics and energetic hard rock music. However, no gameplay footage is featured in this mini-trailer.

Crossovers are a common occurrence in the world of entertainment, and the combination of video games and World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. is no exception. With a focus on appealing to younger audiences, WWE has been actively engaging in such collaborations. The response from fans has been overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing their admiration for the inclusion of characters like Ripley and Reigns, considering them the greatest of all time in WWE. Some fans even went further by suggesting the addition of other wrestlers' skins, such as Kane.
