Pete Davidson is returning to the stand-up stage with fellow comedians John Mulaney and Jon Stewart by his side.

On Tuesday, August 1, comedian Mulaney, 40, took to social media to announce a limited run tour titled "Jon, John & Pete" with Stewart, 60, and Davidson, 29. The tour will feature shows in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Massachusetts in September. Tickets for their comedy act will be available for purchase on Friday, August 4, following a pre-sale on Wednesday, August 2.

This announcement comes just one month after reports of Davidson entering rehab to address his struggles with PTSD and borderline personality disorder. Multiple sources have confirmed that Davidson voluntarily entered the facility after generating attention for leaving an angry voicemail for PETA over his decision to purchase a dog instead of adopting one.

It is uncertain whether Davidson has completed his time in rehab or if he is still currently undergoing treatment before his upcoming joint tour.

In June, Davidson caused a stir when a voicemail he left for PETA's Senior Vice President of Cruelty Investigations, Daphna Nachminovitch, was made public. His reaction to Nachminovitch occurred after she criticized his choice of purchasing a cavapoo puppy from a pet store in New York instead of adopting from a shelter.

"I witnessed my mom and sister cry like they hadn't in over two decades. My intention was to uplift my family during a difficult time. I was already upset that the store had secretly recorded me without my consent or acknowledgment. Furthermore, the actions of this organization (PETA) only exacerbated our grieving situation by publicly shaming us," he stated. "I am upset and recognize that my choice of words was inappropriate. While I regret my statements, I stand by my decision to defend myself and my family."

Earlier in the same year, Davison experienced a car accident with his girlfriend Chase Sui Wonders. Taking place in March, Davison was driving when he lost control of the vehicle, mounting the curb and colliding with a fire hydrant before crashing into a neighboring house.

Davidson must fulfill 50 hours of community service, attend 12 hours of traffic school, and complete a course on victims of reckless drivers at a morgue. These requirements were confirmed last month and should be completed within the next 18 months. Despite the incident occurring in Los Angeles, Davidson, who currently resides in New York, is allowed to fulfill these obligations in his home city.
