Explore Pete Davidson's rise to fame, iconic relationships with stars like Ariana Grande and Cazzie David, and career highlights in this captivating journey through the years

Pete Davidson, the reigning king of Staten Island, has experienced both triumphs and tribulations over the years. He rose to fame in the entertainment world during the early 2010s, captivating audiences with his appearances on Guy Code in 2013 and becoming one of Saturday Night Live's youngest cast members at just 20 years old in 2014.

Davidson has been dedicated to raising awareness about mental health throughout his career, both on the sketch comedy show and in his personal life. During an interview on the “WTF With Marc Maron” podcast in September 2017, he disclosed his diagnosis of borderline personality disorder.

Sharing his experiences, Davidson revealed, "I've been using marijuana for a long time. But around October or September of last year, I started having these intense mental breakdowns. I would completely lose control and then have no recollection of what happened afterwards. It was like a blind rage." Seeking help, he decided to go to rehab and quit using marijuana. However, his doctors informed him that he might have bipolar disorder, leading to one of his psychiatrists formally diagnosing him with borderline personality disorder.

The next month, he opened up about his diagnosis of borderline personality disorder on SNL.

"In the October 2017 episode, he revealed, "I've recently been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, which is a type of depression. If you suspect you're dealing with depression, I encourage you to seek professional help and discuss medication options with your doctor. Additionally, taking care of your physical well-being by following a balanced diet and engaging in regular exercise can have a significant impact."

As Davidson embraces and learns from his personal challenges, his public achievements persist. In May 2020, he unveiled his semiautobiographical film, The King of Staten Island, in which he both stars and co-writes. This endeavor garnered him a nomination for the People's Choice Award for Comedy Movie Star of 2020.

Apart from his professional endeavors, the actor from Suicide Squad is recognized for his high-profile romantic relationships. From his two-year partnership with Cazzie David to his whirlwind engagement and subsequent breakup with Ariana Grande.

According to a source, they are content in each other's company, with the writer's humor and charm making a positive impression. Described as easy-going and enjoyable to be around, Pete is recognized as a good person.

Four months later, however, the couple ended their relationship. According to an insider who spoke to Us in August 2021, the distance between them became a challenge and made it difficult to sustain their relationship. The insider also mentioned that they had a wonderful time together during their time as a couple.

Despite hinting at a possible departure from SNL after its 46th season, Davidson surprised everyone by returning for another season in October 2021. Expressing his disbelief, he exclaimed, "I can't believe I'm back!" during the premiere of season 47.

Weeks later, his personal life grabbed attention once more as he was seen socializing with Kim Kardashian before Halloween. In November 2021, the couple publicly acknowledged their relationship when they were captured holding hands in Palm Springs, California. Us reported in August 2022 that the couple had mutually decided to end their relationship after less than a year together.
