Exclusive Look at Honkai's New Characters: Kafka and Imbibitor Lunae

Leaked Honkai: Star Rail gameplay footage featuring Kafka and Imbibitor Lunae has surfaced, giving fans a sneak peek at the highly anticipated characters before their official release

The leaked footage of New Honkai: Star Rail showcases the gameplay of two of its highly anticipated characters, Kafka and Imbibitor Lunae (also known as Dan Heng's second form). The game's characters have been a major attraction for players, with their unique personalities and abilities aiding them in combat challenges. One such character is the stylish Stellaron Hunter Kafka, who appears in the game's tutorial and wows players with her Ultimate move. Another character that has caught the attention of players is Dan Heng, the early companion of the Trailblazer. This 4-star character will have a second form that stays true to his identity as the Holder of the Light Clan, complete with iconic horns on his head.

Newly leaked footage has shown the two characters, set to appear in Honkai: Star Rail, in action, showcasing their gameplay abilities. It is worth noting that Kafka's gameplay differs from her original iteration in the game's tutorial, specifically her attack animations. Similarly, the Imbibitor Lunae gameplay still displays some unfinished traits, such as the companion dragon flickering at points. However, if the footage is anything to go by, both characters are formidable foes, dealing powerful blows to their enemies. Imbibitor Lunae is a Path of Destruction character dealing Imaginary DMG with a focus on Single Target attacks, while Kafka is a powerful Path of Nihility character able to deal AoE damage with DoT effects.

It remains to be seen how the newly introduced characters will fit into the evolving meta of Honkai: Star Rail, alongside the established units like Bronya and Seele. Although the kits for these characters have been leaked, there has been no confirmation from HoYoverse regarding their appearance in Event Warps. Therefore, it would be wise to gather Stellar Jades in preparation for their potential arrival. Honkai: Star Rail is currently available on PC and mobile devices, with PS4 and PS5 versions in the works.
