Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright have introduced Mamaw's Beer Cheese to the Los Angeles market, as they revealed on the August 3rd episode of their podcast, "When Reality Hits." The couple, aged 44 and 34 respectively, excitedly discussed their latest business endeavor.
Taylor shared their excitement about opening a sports bar called Jax's Studio City. Construction began on Monday, and Taylor expressed the desire to have a neighborhood sports bar. Despite previously believing that owning a bar could harm their marriage, Taylor mentioned that their wife, Brittany, is equally involved in the business, making decisions and taking charge of the decorating process.
He went on to say that what sets him apart from others who have opened bars without their partners is that he is including his significant other. In response, Cartwright expressed her enthusiasm to collaborate with her husband on the project.

"He has repeatedly mentioned how owning a bar negatively impacts relationships, which has always deeply unsettled me since the inception of this project. It is named Jax's, but it is also my own venture," she informed the audience. "And you won't have to be present all day, every day. It will cater to families and children during daytime hours."
According to Cartwright, even devoted fans of Vanderpump Rules will recognize a familiar item on the menu.
“We’re excited to finally include Mamaw’s Beer Cheese on our menu, allowing customers to come and grab their own container,” she said. “Previously, we weren't able to sell it in California, but now that we have a kitchen, I am planning to bring my grandmother out to assist with the menu, giving it that authentic southern charm."
"Beer cheese is a delightful spread made with a combination of cheese, flavorful spices, and, of course, beer," revealed Cartwright on a December 2018 episode, as she shares a beautiful 2-year-old son named Cruz with Taylor. "Having been acquainted with this exquisite creation since childhood, thanks to my grandmother's culinary skills, I am thrilled to bring its flavors to the vibrant city of Los Angeles."
Taylor and Cartwright's idea was eventually disregarded as they turned their attention towards their upcoming wedding in 2019. Following the exchange of vows, which was documented on Vanderpump Rules, the couple surprised fans by announcing their departure from reality TV in 2020.
Taylor and Cartwright are poised to make a comeback on the network, but this time in an exciting eight-episode spinoff series featuring their former co-star Kristen Doute. Their mutual friend Lala Kent recently announced that production for the show has officially begun.
"It's really happening, and I believe they're starting this week," revealed Kent, 32, during her Amazon Live session on July 24. "It's just so strange that they have their own show now, separate from ours. And as of now, we're not part of their show either. We're all best friends and it would be great if we could all be filming a show together."
Kent and Scheana Shay were seen on set, filming alongside Taylor, Cartwright, and Doute, who is 40 years old. Taylor alluded to his comeback in reality television recently when he expressed apologies to Doute for his lack of commitment and reliability caused by his work commitments.
"We have been quite occupied, and eventually, everyone will discover what we are up to," he playfully hinted during a July interview on Doute's "Sex, Love, and What Else Matters" podcast.
