Jax Taylor remains curious about Tom Sandoval's motivations during his affair with Raquel Leviss, suspecting that there may be deeper layers to the story. In an exclusive interview with We on Tuesday, July 11, Taylor, who recently partnered with Xyon Health, shared his perspective. "I believe he is grappling with something, maybe not a midlife crisis per se, but definitely going through a personal struggle. It seems like he has developed a diva mentality on the show, thinking he was untouchable, but reality may have caught up with him."
Jax expressed that he and the rest of the Pump Rules cast are in agreement regarding their feelings towards Sandoval following his breakup with Ariana Madix. Jax described Sandoval as being extremely unaware, selfish, and lacking self-awareness. He believes that there may be something mentally amiss with Sandoval.
On March 3, it was confirmed that Sandoval and Ariana ended their relationship after Sandoval was discovered to be involved with Raquel. Though filming for season 10 of Pump Rules had already concluded, cameras resumed filming in March to document the aftermath of the scandal.

Jax and his wife Brittany Cartwright addressed the scandal in multiple episodes of their show "Watch With Brittany Cartwright & Jax Taylor" on Peacock, before exiting after season 8. On an episode of "Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen" in March, Jax also mentioned that he had predicted Sandoval's infidelity with Ariana.
When asked about their potential return to Pump Rules and rumors of a spinoff, Jax chose not to divulge any information. However, he did mention that if he were to come back, he would approach things differently. He expressed missing certain aspects of the show while acknowledging that there were also aspects he didn't miss. Having become a father, he stated that his perspective has changed and he now focuses on not sweating the small stuff, selectively choosing his battles, and learning to let things go.

Brittany and Jax became parents to their son Cruz in April 2021, who is now 2 years old. While Jax had a reputation as a troublemaker on Pump Rules, becoming a father has had a calming effect on him. It has also made him realize that certain aspects of his life are changing. This is why he decided to partner with Xyon, a company that provides scientifically supported solutions for individuals dealing with hair loss.
"I'm reaching a stage in my life where my hairline is starting to thin out a bit," Jax joked. "Many people try to hide it, but it's something that happens to everyone. It's important to openly discuss it. The more people talk about it, the better it is for everyone, you know?"
Jax, who is 44 years old, married, and has a child, expressed optimism about the brand's products, specifically the new shampoo and conditioner. He believes that this choice is the best option for him at the moment and is confident that it will gradually bring him positive results.
