Jax Taylor has successfully resolved his conflicts with former employer Lisa Vanderpump upon his comeback to the Vanderpump Rules universe. In an exclusive interview with We while promoting his latest reality show, House of Villains, the 44-year-old shared, "We're in a great place. Everything is good. We had some lingering issues that needed to be addressed. Due to the pandemic and the way I exited the show, our communication suffered a bit. But now, everything is okay. The situation has improved."
The reality star had a conversation with Lisa, aged 63, prior to the grand opening of his sports bar, Jax's Studio City, earlier this month.
"I had a few conversations with her. We spoke a couple of weeks ago, although we didn't delve into that topic," he added. "We had some other matters to address initially. However, I'm thrilled to have her attend if she's interested."

Jax and Lisa's turbulent relationship was documented for eight seasons on Vanderpump Rules. Prior to Jax leaving the show with his wife Brittany Cartwright, he had a tense moment with Lisa where he asserted that the show belonged to him. In December 2020, Jax and Brittany, both 34, announced their departure from the popular Bravo series.
During a May 2022 interview on the "Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef" podcast, Brittany surprised viewers by revealing that she felt a distance between herself and Lisa. She expressed her disappointment, saying, "She said she missed us and all, but we haven't been hearing from her as much as we expected, which is quite sad. However, I still love her dearly."
The ex-SUR waitress mentioned that Jax remains silent regarding the unforeseen disagreement with Lisa. She stated, "If you were to ask him, he might feel a bit upset. I know they were really close during filming and everything. It would have been nice if their bond had lasted a bit longer, but we'll see."
Brittany, who is the mother of 2-year-old Cruz with Jax, made it clear that Lisa had sent gifts after their child was born. "Around 8 weeks after Cruz's birth, she sent us a present," Brittany stated. "So she did send some gifts and other things."
Lisa responded by highlighting her efforts to stay connected with her former employees.
"I made the effort to contact them, and I believe they are interested in staying connected. I gifted them a lovely baby present that was personalized with the baby's name, which I shared with Us in July 2022. I consistently offer my support and am always available for them. Apart from when they had the baby, it is usually not me initiating contact. I am always there for them whenever they need me."
After taking a break from reality TV, Jax and Brittany have agreed to participate in a Vanderpump Rules spinoff. The untitled project has already completed filming for the initial eight episodes and includes Kristen Doute. It will center around a group of friends transitioning from their wild youth to parenthood and adult life in California's San Fernando Valley.
Vanderpump Rules stars Scheana Shay and Lala Kent have recently been caught on camera shooting scenes for the upcoming season. Meanwhile, Jax is rumored to be making a guest appearance on season 11 of Vanderpump Rules, addressing the aftermath of Tom Sandoval's alleged infidelity with Raquel Leviss.
Jax expressed his openness to participating in additional reality shows, citing his experience on E!'s House of Villains as a catalyst for his curiosity about other compatible franchises. He specifically mentioned his interest in eventually joining the Housewives franchise, acknowledging that it would be an exciting opportunity for him. He added that although he currently enjoys watching shows centered around single individuals like Love Island, he believes the Housewives series aligns better with his interests and style.
Jax confesses that he is not particularly interested in competition shows. However, he expresses his desire to participate in the Special Forces show on Fox, as he finds the background intriguing. If he were to partake in any competition, that particular show would be his top choice.
Don't miss the premiere of House of Villains, which will feature an extended episode and will air on E! at 10 p.m. ET on Thursday, October 12. Additionally, the premiere episode will also be available on Bravo, SYFY, and USA.
