Honkai: Star Rail has recently leaked gameplay animations for the game's two upcoming five-star characters, Topaz and Jingliu, set to be introduced in Version 1.4. Since its launch in April, HoYoverse's sci-fi RPG has significantly expanded its playable cast by adding numerous new characters. The recent release of Version 1.3 showcased three new characters - Imbibitor Lunae, Fu Xuan, and Lynx - who have joined the game's roster. However, leaked information now suggests that two more characters will be added in the upcoming update.

After the launch of Version 1.3's Special Program, Honkai: Star Rail will unveil the lineup of new characters set to join the RPG in Version 1.4. HoYoverse officially announced the addition of Topaz and Jingliu as two five-star characters, along with a four-star character named Guinaifen. Early leaks and teasers have generated significant anticipation for Jingliu due to her involvement in the lore of the Xianzhou Luofu. The latest leaks from Star Rail provide a glimpse into the gameplay of both featured five-star characters in Version 1.4.

Jingliu is an upcoming addition to Honkai: Star Rail, joining as an Ice character in the Destruction Path. Her Normal Attack and Skill possess the ability to inflict single-target damage. Moreover, Jingliu's Ultimate unleashes devastating AoE Ice damage while providing her with an assortment of valuable buffs. These buffs include enhancements to Effect RES, Speed, and Ice Damage. Additionally, the video offers a glimpse of her Spectral Transmigration Talent, which grants further buffs and unlocks her Enhanced Skill.

Topaz, a Fire Hunt character, is introduced in Honkai: Star Rail as a heavy single-target damage dealer. Assisting her in battle is her companion named Numby, a tiny Warp Trotter, who follows up with additional damage after Topaz's attacks. Topaz's Ultimate greatly enhances her damage output by increasing both her overall damage and Critical Damage, and also triggers Numby's follow-up attack. Both Topaz and Jingliu are expected to be released in Version 1.4, scheduled for October 11.

Honkai: Star Rail plans to introduce several new characters in the near future, including Jingliu and Topaz. Leaks have revealed that Huohuo and Argenti, two new five-star units, are anticipated to make their debut in Star Rail's Version 1.5 update. Interviews with HoYoverse have also hinted at the potential appearance of crossover characters from Honkai Impact 3rd, namely Raiden Mei and Yae Sakura. With the launch of Version 1.4, Topaz and Jingliu offer strong damage options for Star Rail players.
