Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner continues to capture the hearts of viewers, even though his quest for love ended months ago.
During the live finale of Bachelor season 28 on Monday, March 25, eagle-eyed fans of the show spotted Gerry, 72, in the audience with tears in his eyes. It was Gerry who couldn't help but shed tears as Joey Graziadei introduced his family to the final two women, Daisy Kent and Kelsey Anderson.
One X user shared a photo of their television screen, expressing how emotional Gerry getting in the audience during #thebachelor is making them lose it. During Daisy's heartfelt declaration of love for Joey to his family, Gerry was seen tearing up as the live finale crowd was shown in a picture-in-picture box at the bottom left corner of the screen.
Bachelor Nation viewers are well-acquainted with Gerry's emotional side, having witnessed his journey to find love with Theresa Nist in the first-ever Golden Bachelor. The season culminated with a heartwarming proposal in December 2023. The emotional rollercoaster continued the following month when Gerry and Theresa exchanged vows in a live wedding special on January 4. Tears flowed freely as the couple shared their heartfelt promises to each other.
In the preview for The Bachelor finale, it looks like Joey is taking after Gerry when it comes to shedding tears on live TV. We still don't know who Joey ultimately chooses, but one thing's for sure - he has definitely found love on the show and emotions are running high.

Joey shared on the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast that he was feeling about 70/30 or 80/20 confident about his relationships as he entered the hometowns. He could sense that the connections were growing, but no one had yet expressed being in love or talked about real feelings and a future.
He mentioned that the deeper conversations would happen later on, as shown when he had overnight dates with Daisy and Kelsey. During the fantasy suites, it became apparent that Joey's bond with Kelsey was stronger. Joey even confessed that he had feelings for her for a long time.
Joey shared with us that with Kelsey, he felt a connection back to when she first started expressing her feelings, which was almost back in Montreal. They both had a lot of unspoken emotions during that time, but Joey kept them bottled up for a while. They both acknowledge that when Kelsey was going through a tough time in Montreal, Joey was also struggling. Joey admitted that he never told her how he felt because he wanted to be thoughtful and intentional with his words.
