Dua Lipa Announces Her Third Album Radical Optimism

Dua Lipa has announced that her third album, Radical Optimism, is set for release on May 3, 2024.
The singer shared the news on Instagram on Wednesday, March 13, unveiling the album cover and expressing her excitement, "RADICAL OPTIMISM MY 3RD STUDIO ALBUM OUT MAY 3RD 2024 SHOT BY @tyronelebon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Lipa shared the caption for the album cover, where she is depicted alone in the ocean at sunset with a shark's fin nearby.
She also unveiled the tracklist for the album, consisting of 11 songs including titles like “French Exit,” “Anything for Love,” “End of an Era,” “Happy for You,” and “Illusion.”
A couple of years back, a friend of mine introduced me to the idea of Radical Optimism. It really struck a chord with me, and I found myself increasingly intrigued as I began to explore and incorporate it into my daily life. Lipa shared this in a statement on Wednesday.
She went on to explain that Radical Optimism is essentially about focusing on the positive aspects of life, supported by logic and proof. This realization empowered her to believe that she could overcome any challenges that came her way.

She mentioned the concept of gracefully navigating chaos and feeling resilient in any situation. While exploring music genres like psychedelia, trip hop, and Britpop, she was inspired by their confident and optimistic vibes, which she carried into her recording sessions.
The singer has already released two singles from her album Radical Optimism. The first single, "Houdini," was released in November 2023 and entered the Billboard Hot 11 at No. 11. Her second single, "Training Season," was released in February and reached No. 27 on the charts.
Last month, Lipa performed two songs at the 2024 Grammy Awards. Her song "Dance the Night," from the Barbie movie soundtrack, was nominated for Song of the Year and Best Song Written for Visual Media. However, Billie Eilish won both awards for her song "What Was I Made For?" from the 2023 blockbuster.
