Dua Lipa and Seth Meyers Get Inked and Share Shots on 'Late Night With Seth Meyers'

Dua Lipa and Seth Meyers are close friends and recently got matching tattoos as a symbol of their bond. "We're going to be connected for life," Lipa, 28, quipped during her appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers on Tuesday, January 9th.

Meyers, 50, shared that he and the singer of "Levitating" had planned to get matching tattoos before going out to drink together in a segment that aired in December 2023. However, they ran out of time, so they decided to make up for it now.

Before getting their new tattoos on Tuesday, Meyers and Lipa took shots together, using a Barbie's DreamHouse slide as a luge. Meyers confessed that he had never gotten a tattoo before, so he planned to get a single dot.

Meyers replied, "Are you trying to trick me?" before saying he needed another shot because he only took "dot shots."

Lipa, who admitted to having approximately 20 tattoos, went on to receive a star tattoo on her ankle. Tattoo artist Keith "Bang Bang" McCurdy reassured Meyers that he wouldn't feel any pain. Meyers expressed his desire to have the tattoo on his leg so he could "sort of forget" about it.

"This isn't so bad," Meyers said, only to realize that the artist was just outlining the tattoo with a marker, not actually applying the ink. After Lipa gave her approval, Bang Bang began the process as Meyers took another shot.

"I find it amusing that I've made it this far in life without getting a tattoo," he said, raising his glass to Lipa. Later, Meyers proudly displayed his new star tattoo as Lipa exclaimed, "It's perfect!"

The duo garnered attention last month when they went day drinking together, with Meyers confessing who his favorite child was.

When Meyers refused to answer and instead opted to take a shot, Lipa accused him of taking the easy way out. Lipa then insisted that it was natural for Meyers to have a favorite child. (Meyers and his wife Alexi Ashe share sons Ashe, 7, Axel, 5, and daughter Adelaide, 2.)

Meyers' revelation may not have been the most regrettable consequence of their drinking escapades. Lipa later admitted that she had ended up dozing off in the bathroom of a bar after their night out.
