Drake shuts down critics doubting his bond with Millie Bobby Brown in his latest track 'Another Late Night', proving that their friendship is unbreakable

Drake knows that some people think it’s weird he’s friends with Millie Bobby Brown, but he’s not here for the criticism.
In his latest album, For All the Dogs, released on October 6, rapper Drake, age 36, discussed his friendship with Brown, who is 19 years old, in the song "Another Late Night." In the first verse of the track, Drake raps, "Some people in my comments are calling me out about Millie Bobby, but bring those jokes to my group, and we'll come together strongly." He continues, "Or I'll send a signal to your mother through FedEx packages. When you open it, you'll be shocked, and your jaw will drop."
Drake's connection with Brown first gained attention in July 2018, when the actress, who was then 14 years old, disclosed that she was in contact with the musician. In an interview with W magazine, Brown explained that he had invited her to his concert, and they have since maintained regular communication, with her seeking his advice.
Two months later, Brown fondly referred to Drake as her "amazing friend" and "an incredible source of inspiration," with whom she frequently exchanges text messages. In an interview with Access Hollywood in September 2018, she shared, "[He provides me with guidance] about guys. He lends a hand. He's exceptional, truly remarkable. I hold deep affection for him."
Millie Bobby Brown and Drake made an appearance together at the 2018 Netflix Golden Globes. However, when online commenters started questioning their relationship, Brown defended her close bond with the famous rapper on Instagram. In a heartfelt response in September 2018, she wrote, "Why do you have to turn our loving friendship into a headline? You guys are strange... seriously. I am grateful to have individuals in the industry who generously offer their time to support my career and provide their valuable insights and guidance. I am truly fortunate to have wonderful people in my life. You don't get to decide that for me."
Her final statement reflected her appreciation for those who comprehend her work, while urging others to focus on more significant global issues instead of discussing her friendships.
Until his latest release, Drake had remained silent about his bond with Brown. However, in 2022, his representative refuted the claim that Drake was behind a TikTok comment made on a post about Brown's eighteenth birthday.
