Kafka was highly anticipated and well-received by Honkai: Star Rail fans, bringing in over $16 million for the game.
Kafka showcases exceptional prowess as a Nihility DPS character, inflicting gradual damage on foes and provoking other damage over time debuffs.
When constructing optimal team compositions for Kafka, it is advisable to include other Nihility path units while focusing on elevating her skill and ultimate abilities to maximize damage output.
Kafka received a warm reception from fans of Honkai: Star Rail even before she became playable. Players adored her design and the trial they got to experience at the beginning of the game. When she finally became available to join the Trailblazer's party, Kafka generated over 16 million dollars in revenue for the game. The highly anticipated Nihility and Lightning character became a valuable addition to many players' teams, thanks to her unique abilities and play style.
As a Nihility unit, Kafka excels in dealing damage over time (DoT). She effortlessly stacks up damage, rapidly triggering additional DoT debuffs on enemies. Her ability to perform follow-up attacks also contributes to her role as a powerful Nihility DPS for Honkai: Star Rail players. Kafka is an immensely strong unit and a must-have for anyone seeking a DPS character, Nihility users, and, of course, fans of Kafka herself.
Honkai: Star Rail's Kafka's Kit
It's crucial for a DPS to prioritize leveling all of her traces. Neglecting any of her skills would result in a significant decrease in overall damage output. However, if players were to focus on leveling Honkai: Star Rail's Kafka's traces, they should start with her skill and ultimate. These two abilities contribute the most to her damage and are where her effectiveness on the battlefield shines. Her skill triggers all other damage over time (DoT) debuffs on a targeted enemy without removing their timers.
Taking this into consideration, it becomes clear that Kafka's optimal team compositions would consist of other Nihility path units. Having the ability to trigger additional DoTs would be wasted if she doesn't have at least one other sub-DPS with DoT abilities on her team. Free-to-play users will find teammates like Serval and Sampo to be some of her best options. Additionally, Kafka exhibits surprising synergy with her other Stellaron Hunters. If players are unsure about who to include as the final teammate, choosing an Abundance or Preservation path unit is always a wise decision for increased survivability.
Kafka's team composition may be easy to understand, but her best light cones can be more complex. This is because she requires specific stats and bonuses that cannot be obtained elsewhere. While the three-star Hidden Shadow is technically an option, it does not enhance her abilities and only improves her basic attack. To truly excel, Kafka relies on light cones such as Eyes Of The Prey or her signature light cone, Patience Is All You Need.
When it comes to building Kafka, it may seem daunting at first, but it is actually quite straightforward. Prioritizing DPS stats is crucial, along with the inclusion of Effect Hit Rate. However, players should prioritize SPD over Effect Hit Rate, as Kafka can obtain the ideal amount of Effect Hit Rate through sub stats. She needs as much SPD as possible to consistently trigger Damage over Time (DoT) debuffs on her enemies.
Nihility teams were not popular choices before Kafka’s release. However, her arrival sparked a revival and made them a viable option for more challenging battles like the Forgotten Hall. Finally, other Nihility users in Honkai: Star Rail can join her and have their own moments in battle. Previously, they were only seen as free-to-play alternatives to other units. But now, Kafka has completely changed the game and paved the way for new teams to shine in this new meta. Honkai: Star Rail can now be played on Mobile, PC, and PS5.
