Bob was the first person to reach out to Coulier when his brother Danny passed away in 2021. He left a voicemail that Coulier described as an "audio hug," showing his love and support. Coulier, who collaborated with Saget on Full House and the Fuller House reboot, has openly expressed the grief of losing his dear friend. During an appearance on Tamron Hall in May 2022, Coulier shared that his sobriety had been a valuable tool in coping with the loss.

"I went through what you could call a triple dose of sadness," the actor shared. "My brother, Dan, who was the funniest person I knew, took his own life. I found him in the basement of our dad's house. It felt like a part of me died that day because I cherished my brother."

He went on to say, "I tried to lighten the mood with my friends and family by joking, 'I sure picked the wrong time to stop drinking,' even though I was sober. It got a laugh because they knew the truth. Then, a few months ago, my father passed away, and I had the chance to express all the love and pride a son feels for his dad."

Coulier recalled the final exchange he had with Saget, where they texted each other and made each other laugh a lot.

He shared, "The last thing I told him was, 'Have a fantastic show tonight.' That was our final meaningful conversation."
