Kelly Rizzo cherishes the moments she spent with her departed spouse, Bob Saget, and is now focused on finding happiness through gradual progress.
In 2022, the beloved actor from "Full House" was discovered deceased in a hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando in Florida. At the age of 65, Saget's passing was deemed noncriminal by authorities, with a coroner attributing his death to head injuries.
Rizzo discussed her current stage of grief in an interview with Extra.
"I'm still filled with gratitude. I am truly thankful for the time I shared with Bob," she expressed. "When someone leaves such a profound impact on this world, creating an extraordinary legacy, that's ultimately the greatest achievement in life. Bob accomplished that, and he exceeded expectations."
The food blogger said she has experienced survivors guilt.
"You feel guilty if you have happy moments or if youre not feeling sad all the time," she explained.
Rizzo mentioned that now that sufficient time has elapsed, even his daughters' response would be something like, "That is absurd. Heavenly Bob desires your happiness. Earthly Bob, on the other hand, would not have been quite as pleased."
Addressing the possibility of going on a date if she were to be invited, Rizzo expressed a willingness by saying, "Yes, I am open to it."
Saget and Rizzo were married for three years at the time of his death.
