Darius Jackson commented on his former partner Keke Palmer after she obtained a temporary restraining order against him. Text messages between the two reveal that Palmer anticipated Jackson would depict her as the abuser. On December 15, Jackson, 29, responded to Palmer's request for a domestic violence restraining order, claiming that Palmer, 30, was the main perpetrator of abuse during their two-and-a-half-year relationship, as stated in documents obtained by We.
He asserted that Palmer subjected him to both physical and verbal abuse, claiming she punched, choked, and hit him on multiple occasions, providing specific dates for each alleged confrontation.
For instance, he recounted an incident in November 2021 where Palmer reportedly made over 200 phone calls and sent him more than 50 emails after he declined to spend the night with her. He stated that he changed his phone number in March 2022 to avoid her harassment. A year later, he alleged that she verbally abused him, calling him derogatory names such as "bitch," "a punk ass," and "a loser." Additionally, he claimed that her behavior became increasingly aggressive and hostile whenever she consumed alcohol.
The filing contained multiple screenshots of purported text messages in which Palmer appeared to express remorse for physical contact. In one exchange, Jackson sent Palmer a picture of his bruised arm. "You will never touch me again," Jackson wrote.
"I absolutely won't. I am completely committed to that," Palmer replied.
Jackson replied, “You not owning up to it & see it as a threat is alarming.”
“I own up to squeezing your arm,” Palmer allegedly responded.
Jackson expressed, "I'm showing you this to let you know that you're really bothering me. I wouldn't do that to you. I'm happy with where things are."
In response, Palmer accused, "It's obvious that you're attempting to leave evidence. You're actively trying to frame me... through text messages and involving your family and everything else."
Us confirmed that Palmer, 30, filed a petition on November 9, seeking a temporary restraining order and full custody of their 9-month-old son, Leodis. According to the documents, Palmer claimed that Jackson "trespassed" into her home and "threatened" her. She also alleged that Jackson struck her before throwing her over the couch. Additionally, she accused him of "getting rough" with their baby.

The actress, who started seeing Jackson in August 2021, claimed that there were numerous incidents of physical violence during their two-year relationship. Palmer stated that she and Jackson ended their relationship in October, with the breakup being attributed to the physical and emotional abuse. On November 10, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge granted Palmer's request for a temporary restraining order. The court ordered Jackson to stay 100 yards away from Palmer and their child until further notice, and also prohibited him from having visitation rights.
Before Darius addressed Palmer’s allegations, his brother Sarunas Jackson came to his defense when the news first surfaced on Thursday. Following this, Keke’s mother, Sharon Palmer, retaliated against Sarunas and asserted that he was aware of his brother’s supposed actions.

In an Instagram video, she expressed her frustration with Sarunas Jackson for sharing inappropriate posts on Twitter despite knowing about his brother's abusive behavior. She had previously informed Sarunas about his brother's abusive actions towards her daughter, to which Sarunas responded with a dismissive statement.
Sarunas denied Sharon's accusations, stating "I have never said anything like that to Sharon, not ever," in an Instagram comment obtained by The Shade Room. "I have never mistreated any woman I have been with. But Sharon, the world will soon hear your side of the story. And the threats you made to my family."
