Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow announced their separation almost ten years ago, but according to an insider, their relationship has never been better. "Chris could not be more thankful that he and Gwyneth have successfully managed their co-parenting relationship," the source says. The former couple co-parent their 19-year-old daughter, Apple, and 17-year-old son, Moses.

Coldplay's 46-year-old frontman is grateful that he and 51-year-old Paltrow have prioritized their children after their split, despite things not working out between them, according to a source. Even though Martin and Paltrow separated in 2014, the musician still feels a strong connection to Gwyneth and will always consider her family.

Martin’s girlfriend, Dakota Johnson, has grown close to Gwyneth, forming a strong bond stemming from the former couple's dynamic. A source states, “[Chris] loves that Dakota and Gwyneth have grown close over the years and their friendship is a really beautiful thing to see.”

Martin and Paltrow were married in December 2003 but announced their conscious uncoupling in March 2014 after a decade together. The divorce was filed the following year by the Iron Man actress and finalized in July 2016.

"It takes effort and putting aside feelings at times," a source told Us exclusively in October 2019 about the adults' "very friendly" relationships. "They truly enjoy each other's company and there is a lot of love between them all. Gwyneth loves Dakota, and vice versa. She really respects her and appreciates her as a person."
