On Thursday, February 29, Cartwright, 35, shared a heartwarming moment of her 2-year-old son Cruz on her Instagram Story. She captioned the clip with "My Everything 🫶," as it showed Cruz happily playing in the yard.
The cute photo was posted shortly after Cartwright opened up on their podcast, "When Reality Hits," about the challenges in her relationship with Taylor.
She shared, "Many of you have been asking about Jax and me and how things are going. I believe in being truthful and transparent with you all since we've shared so much of our journey with you. I don't want to give a false impression, so it's important for me to address this."
Cartwright went on to address the “speculation” about her relationship with Taylor, 44, saying that she wanted to be “transparent” with fans.

Marriages can be tough, and I had a really challenging year. Jax and I are currently taking a break, and I decided to move into a different house to give myself some space for my mental well-being. It's still difficult for me to talk about, so I won't go into too much detail at the moment.
Cartwright emphasized that her main focus right now is her son Cruz, stating, "I am taking things one day at a time. I don't know what the future holds, but I want to be the best mom to Cruz. Your support and prayers mean a lot to me. Everything will work out."
Addressing his wife's recent disclosure, Taylor informed Page Six that Cartwright is now back home after being away for a period of time.
“We’re together. We’re living in our home right now,” he said, noting that the twosome are trying to “figure out” their next steps.

Cartwright hinted at needing some "space" during the February 22 episode of their podcast. She mentioned the need to address rumors but also emphasized the importance of privacy. Marriage, she explained, has its challenges and it's normal for couples to experience ups and downs.
She acknowledged the numerous changes that have occurred in both her and Taylor's lives since filming for their Bravo series, The Valley, wrapped up. Despite the changes, Cartwright made it clear that their marriage is not for publicity and there are no stunts involved.
Cartwright was introduced to Vanderpump Rules fans during season 4 in 2015 when she began a relationship with Taylor. Despite facing challenges such as Taylor's infidelity, the couple got married in 2019. In 2021, they became parents to Cruz shortly after revealing their departure from the show.
