Brittany Cartwright made a change to her social media account after her split from Jax Taylor. She removed his last name from her bio.

Previously, Cartwright, 35, had her full name listed as “Brittany Cartwright Cauchi” on Instagram. This change was noticed as of Saturday, March 2. The following day, the name “Cauchi” was no longer part of her profile. (Cauchi is Taylor’s legal last name, which Cartwright took on after their marriage.)

Cartwright's Instagram bio remains unchanged, stating, "Just a Kentucky girl livin in a beautiful world. Cruz's Mommy #TheValley #WhenRealityHits ❤️."

She has been in a relationship with Taylor, 44, since 2015. They tied the knot almost five years later in 2019 and welcomed their son Cruz in 2021.

Cartwright recently shared on her podcast "When Reality Hits" that she and her husband Jax are currently taking a break in their marriage. She explained that she decided to move out of their shared home for the sake of her mental health. Cartwright mentioned that she is not ready to dive into the details of their situation as it is still a sensitive topic for her.

Despite the challenges they are facing, Cartwright emphasized that she is focusing on taking things one step at a time. She expressed her love and gratitude for her supporters and asked for their prayers during this difficult time. Cartwright's main priority right now is being the best mother to her son Cruz, and she remains hopeful that everything will work out in the end.

Taylor mentioned on Thursday that Cartwright had come back home.

"We're currently living together in our home," he shared with Page Six, describing their relationship as "fresh and new." Taylor clarified, "It's not about being mean or negative. It's just two individuals who have reached a 10-year milestone in their marriage. We're taking some time apart to reassess our situation. With a child in the picture, we just want to do what's best for our kid."

Cartwright has not confirmed whether she has returned home yet. However, she has emphasized that their relationship has not returned to its previous state.

“I believe that moving out and giving myself space to determine what I truly want is the best option for me right now,” she shared with TMZ on Friday, March 1. “I have been requesting certain things from him for some time now, but there has been no progress. I really love Jax and want what’s best for myself and my son at this moment.”
