Britney Spears Allegedly Aware of Kevin Federline's Expectant Child When They Started Dating

Shar Jackson disputes Britney Spears' assertion that she was unaware of Kevin Federline's impending fatherhood when they began their relationship

Shar Jackson recalls her separation from former fiancé Kevin Federline with contrasting memories compared to Britney Spears. According to a recent interview with the Daily Mail, Jackson, aged 47, asserted, "At the time Kevin met Britney, we already had three children, with one more on the way, and we resided in a six-bedroom residence in Orange County, California. There was a specific day when I experienced severe morning sickness and was around six months pregnant, and Kevin had an audition for a potential Coke commercial or something similar in LA. Following that, I did not receive any communication from him for a duration of three days."

Jackson revealed that Federline, aged 45, had met Spears, aged 41, on the night he abruptly stopped communicating. This news left her feeling a mix of anger, betrayal, and a sense of detachment. She further asserted that Spears knew about Federline's impending fatherhood when they started their relationship, and she even waited outside the hospital while Federline witnessed the birth of his son, Kaleb, in 2004. It is worth mentioning that in addition to their shared daughter, Kori, aged 21, Federline also played a role in raising Jackson's two children from a previous relationship.

Jackson’s account contradicts the assertions made by Spears in her recently released memoir, The Woman in Me, which became available on October 24.

According to Spears, "I was isolated from the outside world, lacking trustworthy and intimate friendships for guidance and support. It was only after a considerable amount of time had passed that I discovered the truth from an outside source: 'Did you know he has a new child?' " Spears adamantly claims ignorance regarding Federline's circumstances. We have contacted Spears' representative for any further remarks.

Jackson, on the other hand, claimed that she discovered Federline's infidelity when "photographs [of him and Britney] embracing were published in the newspapers."

She further expressed, "In my view, the relationship between Britney and Kevin was a fantasy for both of them. Any foundation built on uncertainty is destined to crumble, and their relationship began with uncertainty because he was already involved with someone else. I never harbored hatred towards Kevin, as true love cannot coexist with hatred."

Spears and Federline got married in 2004, just five months after they started dating. They became parents to two sons, Preston (18) and Jayden (17), born in 2005 and 2006 respectively.

Despite their marriage not lasting, as they separated in 2006 and finalized their divorce the next year, Spears revealed in her new book that she had genuinely meant her wedding vows when she married Federline.

The singer "Toxic" stated that their relationship started to deteriorate when Federline became captivated by fame and power. She went on to say that she has witnessed fame and money ruin people multiple times in her life, and she observed it happening to Kevin slowly.

Federline has not publicly addressed Spears’ memoir.
