Brian Austin Green Says It's 'Tough' to Compare Ex Megan Fox to Love Is Blind's Chelsea Blackwell

Brian Austin Green responded diplomatically when asked about his ex-wife Megan Fox's lookalike appearing on Love Is Blind. In a lighthearted manner, Brian, 50, mentioned that the person in question has brown hair and blue eyes, but he didn't want to make any definitive statements. He complimented Megan's unique beauty, acknowledging that many people consider her to be one of the most beautiful women in the world.

He continued, "You know, she has a very incredible look to her. So, that’s a tough comparison, I think for anyone to make. Stay in your lane, Chelsea [Blackwell], keep your head up. Don’t listen to everybody else. Be proud of yourself and move on."

Brian was married to Megan, 37, from 2010 to 2020. After they separated, they continued coparenting sons Noah, 11, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 7. (Green also shares son Kassius, 21, with ex Vanessa Marcil and son Zane, 20 months, with fiancée Sharna Burgess.)

Chelsea, who is 31 years old, appeared on season 6 of Love Is Blind, a show currently airing new episodes weekly on Netflix. During the pod experiment, she mentioned to her eventual fiancé Jimmy Presnell that Megan is her celebrity lookalike. While Jimmy was excited about the idea of marrying someone who resembles the Transformers actress, the internet does not agree.

In an exclusive interview with We in February, Jimmy, who is 28 years old, took responsibility for the backlash Chelsea received. He explained that his reaction to the resemblance was what caught people's attention online. Jimmy admitted that he could have handled the situation better by not making a big deal out of it.

He continued, "To be fair, that woman didn't actually claim, 'I look like Megan Fox.' She mentioned that 'people tell me.' But when I heard that, I got really excited. So, yeah, maybe it was my mistake. She's facing a lot of criticism that she doesn't deserve."

Jimmy also pointed out that Chelsea is an "amazing person" and is "beautiful" in her own unique way.

He emphasized, "I will protect her from all the negativity if necessary. I can vouch for her character, and if anyone wants to criticize someone, they should criticize me. She doesn't deserve it."

Chelsea was also surprised by the reaction her comment received from Love Is Blind viewers.

She laughed as she recalled the silly and goofy conversation that he and she had. She couldn't believe that it had become such a big deal, as she didn't even remember saying it.
