Forming a connection! Since the premiere of Love Is Blind in 2020, fans have wondered how effective the concept of speed-dating without seeing the other person actually is.
According to Lauren Speed, finding her perfect match on the show wasn't as easy as it seemed, despite getting married to Cameron Hamilton on day 40 of the dating experiment. In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly in April 2021, she revealed that the couple had to learn how to deal with people's opinions and the pressure that came along with the newfound attention. Although it was a difficult period, Lauren believes that they were able to overcome it quickly and move forward.
The Georgia native previously shared their excitement for upcoming milestones, expressing their desire to start a family. While they currently have a fur baby named Spark, they view their work as their child for the time being. Cameron recently celebrated their three-year anniversary with a heartfelt Instagram post, expressing gratitude for finding happiness and love with their spouse.
Mark Cuevas and Jessica Batten's relationship on season 1 of the show showcased the difficulties of making a relationship work. Despite Mark's willingness to commit, Jessica left him at the altar. Jessica revealed that the show's pressure was too much to handle.
Following the conclusion of the show, Jessica refrained from dating for a considerable amount of time due to the distressing nature of the experience. In December 2021, she disclosed to Us that her primary aim was to avoid attention and remain inconspicuous. However, she eventually found love with Benjamin McGrath, who initiated contact via direct message just prior to the COVID-19 lockdown in March 2020.
Since then, we've talked every single day," she shared with Us. She added that Benjamin, a foot-and-ankle surgeon, provided a much-needed distraction from the public turmoil of the time. After a year of dating, the couple got engaged in September 2021.

'Love Is Blind’ Couples Status Check: Who Is Still Together and Who Broke Up?
The effectiveness of the Love Is Blind concept, which involves speed-dating without seeing the other person, has been a topic of interest among fans since its premiere in 2020. Despite the success story of Lauren Speed and Cameron Hamilton, who got married on day 40 of the dating experiment, Lauren has since revealed that finding a life partner on the show was not as straightforward as it appeared.
Learning to disregard the opinions of others was a challenge for us, she shared exclusively with Us Weekly in April 2021. The sudden surge of attention and scrutiny can be overwhelming, and it took some time for us to adjust. However, we are only human and not immune to the pressure. Fortunately, I was able to overcome it relatively quickly. At the time, we were looking forward to important milestones in our lives, including starting a family. While we don't have any human children yet, we do have a beloved fur baby named Spark who currently holds that title. Our work is also a priority for us, and we're excited for what the future holds.
For their third wedding anniversary in November 2021, Cameron took to Instagram to express his adoration for his wife, calling her his best friend and thanking her for marrying him on her birthday three years prior. He compared being with her to receiving a birthday gift, as he found a level of happiness he had never known before. Meanwhile, viewers of season 1 witnessed the ups and downs of Jessica Batten and Mark Cuevas' relationship, ultimately culminating in Jessica leaving Mark at the altar despite his eagerness to get married.
"I didn't date for a while after the show ended because it was a traumatic experience," shared the Netflix personality. Jessica revealed to Us in December 2021 that the pressure from being on the show was overwhelming. Her main objective was to avoid attention and stay out of the limelight.
Jessica found love with Benjamin McGrath when he slid into her DMs just before the COVID-19 lockdown in March 2020. She revealed that they have spoken every day since then, and he has been a welcome distraction from the chaos of the world around them. McGrath is a foot-and-ankle surgeon and Jessica couldn't be happier with their relationship. So, they started their love journey during the pandemic situation.
After one year of dating, Jessica and Benjamin got engaged in September 2021.
