Brian Austin Green expressed his disappointment that the special tribute dance for Len Goodman on Dancing With the Stars did not feature his fiancée, former pro Sharna Burgess. Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, October 25, the 50-year-old actor wrote, "I was immensely disappointed that @sharnaburgess was not invited for the tribute last night. It is equally disheartening that none of her 'family in the ballroom' stood up for her or spoke out."

Burgess was described as an incredible soul and a friend to all. It was emphasized that she deserved better and that family sticks together. During the October 24th episode of DWTS, the pro dancers performed a touching waltz to Henry Mancini's "Moon River." The dance, choreographed by Val Chmerkovskiy and his wife, Jenna Johnson, even featured former pros from the show, including Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Karina Smirnoff, Mark Ballas, Kym Johnson-Herjavec, Tony Dovolani, Anna Trebunskaya, Louis van Amstel, and Edyta Sliwinska. This group came together to pay tribute to the late head judge, Goodman, who passed away at the age of 78 in April following a battle with cancer.

Green, who proposed to Burgess in July, expressed his disappointment in a recent social media post, stating that Burgess was not even invited to be present in the stands and watch. He called out the group of people responsible for this exclusion, emphasizing that kindness and love are demonstrated through actions. Green also expressed that fellow former pro Cheryl Burke, who previously shared on Threads on October 19 that she had not been invited to participate, should have been included as well. Burke had left the show in 2022 after an impressive 26 seasons and winning the mirrorball trophy twice.

Burgess, a professional dancer on DWTS since 2014, has remained silent regarding the recent drama. In season 27, the Australian dancer won the mirrorball trophy with radio DJ Bobby Bones. This victory occurred almost two years before she partnered with her then-boyfriend Green for season 30 of the show.

Earlier this year, Burgess disclosed that she had not been invited back for season 32. She chose to not participate in season 31 after giving birth to her and Green's son, Zane, in June 2022.

"I have a strong affection for that show, and I believe that two conflicting emotions can coexist. I can be profoundly disappointed or saddened by the fact that I didn't receive the desired phone call, yet at the same time, I can still have a deep love for the show and an everlasting desire to return to it," Burgess stated exclusively to We in September. "I have a sentimental attachment to that show since it played a significant role in my upbringing. The people involved, including the cast and crew, hold a special place in my heart. I will always yearn to be involved in some capacity if given the opportunity. Therefore, if they were to reach out next year, without a doubt, I would enthusiastically accept."
