The Hidden Love Lives of ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Pros: Unveiling their Spouses & Romances

Lindsay Arnold tied the knot with her high school sweetheart, Sam Cusick, in their home state of Utah in June 2015. After two years of marital happiness, the former So You Think You Can Dance star expressed her joy in finding love beyond the glitz and glamour of Hollywood.

She also expressed her appreciation for their beautiful daughter, who they created together, and praised her husband for his natural abilities as a father. In contrast to Arnold, some other DWTS professionals have found their life partners within the dance world. Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd, for example, transformed their professional bond into a joyful marriage. After welcoming their son Shai Aleksander, they tied the knot in July 2017. Now, after celebrating their little boy's third birthday, Murgatroyd has expressed her readiness to consider expanding their family to become a family of four.

In July 2020, she shared exclusively, "We have a strong desire to start a family soon. It's important for our son, Shai, to have the experience of growing up with siblings during his childhood."

Chmerkovskiy had previously expressed his hope to have a daughter someday. He revealed in an exclusive interview with Us in March 2020, "When Peta told me our last pregnancy was a boy, I was overjoyed. But right after that, I felt ready for a girl. I believe it would be a truly unique and special bond."

Chmerkovskiy, on his part, previously hinted at his desire to have a daughter in the future. "When Peta revealed that our last pregnancy was a boy, I was initially overjoyed and grateful," he shared exclusively with Us in March 2020. "But right after that, I found myself thinking, 'Okay, now I'm ready to have a girl.' There's just something truly special about it."

Us confirmed in 2019 that the former WWE wrestler and the Russian dancer were in a romantic relationship after being paired together on season 25 of the series.
