Avery Singer was sighted at BravoCon 2023 following her mom, Ramona Singer, being excluded from the event.

We can confirm that Avery, 28, attended the convention held in Las Vegas on Friday, November 3, at the Bravo Bazaar for her business, Bach Boss. A witness informs us that Avery remained in high spirits despite the controversy surrounding her mother.

Ramona, a 66-year-old, was removed from the Las Vegas event on November 5 due to a text message she sent to a Page Six reporter. The reporter asked for her reaction to a Vanity Fair article that accused her of using a racial slur while speaking to a Black crew member on the Bravo reality series, season 13.

In her response, Ramona tried to defend herself but ended up using the racial slur in an abbreviated form. The screenshot of her message was published by the outlet on October 31.

Prior to BravoCon's official commencement, a source disclosed to Us that Ramona had been experiencing intense distress and profound upset due to the negative feedback. The informant asserted that Ramona's nonattendance from the event was a result of a "mutual agreement" between her and Bravo executives. However, a second source closely connected to the network contradicted this information, stating that Ramona was explicitly informed by Bravo that she will not be attending BravoCon and that it was not her own decision to forego the event.

Bravo initiated an investigation in October 2021 following allegations made by Eboni K. Williams, the first Black cast member of RHONY in season 13. Williams accused her former co-star Ramona of making a racially insensitive comment. Additionally, a crew member had filed a complaint against Ramona in December 2020. According to sources, investigations were conducted for both complaints. The findings corroborated the complaint from the crew member, while the allegations made by Eboni were not corroborated.

Ramona allegedly posed the question, "What if they don't have a father? Why can't I say that?" while participating in a training session with two racial justice representatives, a Bravo publicist, and an NBCUniversal communications expert. Williams, age 40, claimed in Vanity Fair's exposé, published on October 30, that Ramona stated that "most" Black people do not have present fathers. RHONY alum Leah McSweeney also supported Williams' account in the article.

Ramona defended her alleged statements by stating that during the training, there was a focus on open dialogue. In line with this, she asked a question regarding a statistic she had come across about the success rates of children from single-parent households versus those from two-parent households.

Following the 2021 controversy, Ramona has left the show, and season 14 has been revamped with an entirely new cast. Ramona confirmed in November 2022 that she will not be making a return to RHONY. In an interview with Page Six, she mentioned, "I no longer wish to be a part of the show. It's not the right time for me."

Still, Ramona will be a cast member on the upcoming Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy, which is expected to premiere in December.
