Vanderpump Rules fans don’t have to wait long for more drama with the season 11 premiere just around the corner.

During the first BravoCon panel on Friday, November 3, viewers were surprised with the announcement that the series would be returning in January. A video teaser featured a slowed-down version of the Vanderpump Rules' theme song "Raise Your Glass" and a message that stated, "What a difference one scandal makes." The exact return date for the show has not yet been revealed.

The tenth season of Vanderpump Rules concluded in June, with Ariana Madix grappling with the aftermath of her ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval's affair with her friend Raquel Leviss. After nearly a decade of dating, Ariana, 38, and Sandoval, 40, ended their relationship in March due to his infidelity. Additionally, Lisa Vanderpump confirmed in August that Raquel, 29, would not be returning to the reality show.

Ariana and Sandoval, along with Vanderpump, Katie Maloney, Tom Schwartz, Lala Kent, Scheana Shay, James Kennedy, Ally Lewber, and Brock Davies are expected to make appearances in season 11. Prior to the news of Raquel's departure, Ariana expressed her refusal to film with either Raquel or Sandoval. However, Ariana was later seen filming scenes with her ex-partner. In an interview with The New York Times in May, Ariana stated, "No, I have nothing to say to either of them. Our show depicts a real group of friends, and neither of them are part of that group, so good luck to them."

Raquel reflected on her relationship with Tom in an August interview on Bethenny Frankel's podcast, "Just B." She expressed that Tom made her feel seen and heard, which was a unique connection she hadn't experienced with others in the cast or in her personal life. Raquel was in a turbulent filming environment and needed validation and someone who would listen without judgment. Tom provided her with that support at the time.

During the interview, Raquel also downplayed her friendship with Ariana. She explained that they weren't best friends, but rather acquaintances who became friends through the show. Although Ariana had always been kind to her and advocated for her pursuits, they never had deep conversations like she would with a best friend.

Ariana, on the other hand, has flourished following the scandal. Not only did she participate in season 32 of Dancing With the Stars, but she also moved forward in her relationship with her boyfriend, Daniel Wai. In an exclusive conversation with us in October, she shared, "This experience made me acknowledge my ability to overcome challenges. Even when the worst-case scenario occurred, I was able to weather it. Just look at me now – I can handle whatever comes my way."
