Breeding Hisuian Pokemon

Breeding Hisuian Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet introduces a possibility and some limitations. Pokemon with Hisuian pre-evolutions can be bred to obtain the first stage of their Hisuian evolution.

For instance, breeding a Hisuian Zoroark will result in a Hisuian Zorua hatchling, which can be evolved further. However, Pokemon without Hisuian pre-evolutions must first be evolved in Pokemon Legends: Arceus before transferring them to Scarlet and Violet for breeding.

Hisuian Breeding Exceptions

Exceptions to the evolution rule exist when both the pre-evolution and following evolution have Hisuian variants.
