Zendaya didn’t join boyfriend Tom Holland on stage during his Romeo & Juliet performance, but she certainly looked the part of a star-crossed lover. The actress, 27, attended Holland’s show at the Duke of York Theatre in London's West End on Thursday, May 24. Zendaya channeled a Shakespearean heroine in a stunning Spring 2023 Vivienne Westwood black gown adorned with twinkling embellishments. Completing her look with layered statement necklaces and a chic low bun hairstyle.

After taking their final bows on stage, she and Holland, who is 27 years old, were spotted leaving the theater hand in hand. Holland, dressed in all black, matched his girlfriend's more modern outfit.

Holland was chosen to play Romeo in the West End production in February, while Francesca Amewudah-Rivers was cast as Juliet a month later. Despite a delay in production, the play finally opened earlier this month and is scheduled to run until August 3. Tickets for the 12-week run have already sold out.

Holland is currently focused on bringing the Shakespeare classic across the pond, but he also takes the time to show love in return. Zendaya recently co-chaired this year's Met Gala, and Holland shared photos of her stunning looks on Instagram with three heart-eye emojis.

Zendaya and Tom sparked dating rumors back in 2017 when they starred in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Despite denying any romantic involvement for years, pictures of them kissing went viral in 2021.

The couple have chosen to keep their relationship mostly private, but they still support each other by attending events and promoting each other's work. Zendaya recently praised Holland for how he has managed his sudden rise to fame.

In a Vogue cover story, Zendaya shared, "We were both very young when we met, but my career was already taking off while his changed overnight. One day you're just hanging out with friends, and the next day you're Spider-Man. I saw his life transform right before his eyes, but he handled it with grace."

In February, while promoting her film Dune 2, the Challengers star shared her admiration for Holland's natural charm. "I find Tom Holland to have a beautiful charisma," she playfully told Buzzfeed. "I'm a bit shy and quiet, so it usually takes some effort to get me to open up. But he's really good at connecting with others and making them feel comfortable."
