Tom Holland has given an update for fans eagerly anticipating his return as Spider-Man in the highly anticipated Spider-Man 4. Unfortunately, the news isn't great as Holland has confirmed that the meetings for the film have been put on hold due to the ongoing Writers Guild of America strike. Despite initial doubts about Holland's return, conversations about the film began a few weeks after the successful release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, but planning is now on hold with no indication of when meetings will resume.

Negotiations for Spider-Man 4 are underway, with meetings being held to discuss the project. Although actor Tom Holland has confirmed that these meetings have been put on hold in solidarity with the writers, it is still good news for fans to know that plans for the film are in motion. Holland's portrayal of Spider-Man has been widely praised and he has featured in numerous MCU films, including his standalone trilogy, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame. Fans were delighted to see Holland's version of the character interact with other iconic versions played by Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Although it had appeared Holland's time as the web-slinging hero was at an end, his return in the upcoming film has reignited fans' excitement.
