Zendaya recently shared some rare comments about her boyfriend Tom Holland. During a joint interview with Vogue and British Vogue, the "Challengers" actress complimented her "Spider-Man: Homecoming" co-star for his handling of things post the film's release in 2017.
We were both very young when our careers started taking off. While mine was already on its way, his changed overnight. One day you're hanging out at the pub with friends, and the next day you're Spider-Man," she shared. "I saw his life transform right before his eyes, but he handled it with grace.
Next on Holland's agenda is a role in the West End production of "Romeo & Juliet" in London, set for May. Zendaya expressed her immense pride in him.
“I’m going to try to see as many shows as I possibly can,” she added.
While the pair have been linked for years, they are pretty private about their relationship.
It seems like their popularity only increased when Zendaya shared a story about her and Tom wanting to visit the famous Louvre in Paris. The "Euphoria" actress mentioned that they were advised against it, being told "It’s already busy. You might make it worse." Despite the warning, they decided to go anyway, and photos of them exploring the museum spread on social media.
Zendaya remembered that it was okay. She mentioned, "You start to accept that you are also a piece of art that people will photograph. So, I just have to be cool with it and continue living my life."
Additionally, fame comes with some advantages. Zendaya shared that the museum even let them stay after it closed.
“It was one of the coolest experiences ever,” she said. “It was like ‘Night at the Museum.’”
