Highlights

A Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player has created a swing ride using the Ultrahand ability to entertain the Koroks of Hyrule.

The swing ride is comprised of a revolving platform connected to a tree, where four Koroks occupy spinning chairs when it is activated.

The player's additional invention, known as the Wave Swinger, hurls the Koroks unpredictably as a result of a malfunction, resulting in a less serene encounter.

A player of Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has ingeniously utilized the Ultrahand ability to create an amusing swing ride for the Koroks. This game offers abundant replay value with the Ultrahand feature, and this player has employed it to enhance the lives of the Koroks in the kingdom of Hyrule.

The Koroks have been a recurring element in various Legend of Zelda games, spanning from Wind Waker to Tears of the Kingdom. As Tears of the Kingdom carries forward landscapes and mechanics from its predecessor, the Koroks have also made their presence felt in the futuristic realm of Hyrule. With a staggering 1,000 Korok Seeds to be found in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players are likely to encounter these creatures frequently throughout their adventures. In light of this, our talented player has decided to commemorate the Koroks of Hyrule by constructing a swing ride reminiscent of those found in amusement parks.

A Reddit user named Divlogue recently shared a clip of their Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Korok swing ride. In the video, Divlogue adjusts the position of the swing ride using Ultrahand. The ride consists of a rotating platform at the top of a tree. When activated, the platform spins the Koroks, who are sitting in chairs hanging from a central unit. To activate the swing ride, the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player shoots an arrow at their creation, causing the chairs to spin the Koroks in circles. As the ride spins faster, the Koroks go higher in the air, almost reaching the height of the machine they're attached to.

After the clip of the Korok swing ride, Divlogue also shares a video of another ride called the Wave Swinger. This ride lacks the elegance of the Korok swing ride and flings the Koroks wildly due to a malfunction, according to Divlogue. The Koroks reach similar heights as in the Ultrahand machine, but the main structure abruptly starts swinging back and forth, resembling a ride in need of maintenance. Although it's unclear how long it took Divlogue to build these Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom creations, the inclusion of the Wave Swinger suggests that they went through multiple iterations of the ride.

The Wave Swinger in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom seems to lose its peaceful charm for the lovable Korok characters. Even though their main objective is to find their friends, Divlogue's creation provides a delightful diversion. Grab your copy of Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for Switch, available now.
