Players of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can channel their inner Bruce Wayne by creating their very own Batmobile inspired by The Dark Knight Trilogy. This is made possible after completing one of the first shrines in the game, which allows players to construct their own vehicles and contraptions. Once Link awakens in the sky islands above Central Hyrule, players can embark on The Closed Door quest and seek guidance from the enigmatic Rauru. He will direct them towards four shrines scattered across the Great Sky Island, each providing Link with a unique ability such as Ascend, Fuse, Recall, and Ultrahand. With these abilities acquired, players can safely descend to Hyrule and continue building their very own creations on land.
The Tumbler Batmobile, created by Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player Temporary_Process_37, is a marvel of Zonai-powered engineering. Link pilots the vehicle by controlling the Zonai steering stick, which is connected to a frame made up of Zonai platforms and a sturdy wooden plank. Zonai springs and tires give the Batmobile its unique ability to expand and contract, mimicking the Tumbler Batmobile's chassis. To defend against enemies, an auto-homing cannon is mounted on top of the Batmobile. Temporary_Process_37 reveals that the springs activate when Link takes control of the steering stick, allowing for seamless transformation between the Batmobile's two forms. With its dense frame and deadly cannon, the Tumbler Batmobile is a formidable asset in any battle.
The recreated Batmobile by Temporary_Process_37 may not have the iconic black paint, but it still boasts impressive features. With this vehicle, players can easily charge into Bokoblin and Moblin camps scattered throughout Hyrule in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. However, it's worth noting that the Batmobile has high energy consumption, so players may want to upgrade Zonai energy cells. Additionally, the Ultrahand ability remains valuable for both new and experienced players of the game. With the Autobuild ability unlocked, players can recreate their favorite Ultrahand creations in various locations, including the sky islands and the mysterious Depths.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available now for Nintendo Switch.
