In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players can utilize the stables for various purposes. They can stable and customize their horses, enjoy the comfort of beds for resting, and engage with other travelers and vendors. Additionally, each stable is home to unique side quests, which can be initiated through conversations with residents seeking the services provided by the stables.
The stable keepers themselves have entrusted the player with a special quest. They request assistance in adding a beautiful painting to the stables' interior. As the keepers have numerous duties to attend to, they rely on the player to journey to various locations in Hyrule and capture specific photographs. These photographs will then be utilized by the stable keeper to create a painting that will adorn the stables.
A Picture for New Serenne Stable Quest Walkthrough
In order to undertake these quests, players must have fulfilled the requirements of a temple within the game and obtained the Camera. The initiation of these quests can be initiated by interacting with an empty frame located on the interior wall of the stable. Here's what players need to do to successfully complete the quest known as "A Picture for New Serenne Stable" in the Tears of the Kingdom.
New Serenne Stable is likely one of the first stables that Link will come across during his travels throughout Hyrule. However, it's important to note that he won't be able to embark on this quest until he has successfully completed one of the elemental temples linked to the "Regional Phenomena" main storyline. Once he has accomplished this, he can make his way to New Serenne Stable, which can be found at coordinates (-1351, 0737, 0085), to initiate the quest titled "A Picture for New Serenne Stable."
To quickly reach the Serenne Stable, head towards Sinakawak Shrine, which is conveniently located in the northwest and easily visible from the stable. Upon arrival, make your way into the stable and seek out an empty picture frame hanging on the interior wall. Interacting with it will initiate a conversation with Sprinn, the keeper of the stable. Sprinn will then explain that the Stable Association has provided these frames to each proprietor, allowing them to display a breathtaking painting of their favorite destination in the vast land of Hyrule.
Upon hearing about the Geoglyphs from Lady Impa during her visit, Sprinn became enthralled by them and now wishes to depict one near the New Serenne Stable through his artwork. These Geoglyphs serve as crucial elements in the main story quest titled "Impa and the Geoglyphs." If players haven't interacted with Impa yet, they can locate her just northwest of the stable by simply following the road.
To obtain a satisfactory photo for the quest "A Picture for New Serenne Stable," there is no need for Link to accompany Impa in her hot-air balloon to view the Geoglyph. Instead, players can conveniently travel north to a rocky hill situated at coordinates (-1519, 0864, 0143), which offers a vantage point overlooking the southern fork in the road. No balloons or Zonai Devices are necessary for this task.
To complete this task, the player simply needs to ascend to the highest point of the hill and retrieve their Camera. Direct the viewfinder towards the Geoglyph located on the ground in front. As soon as a text bubble surfaces with the label "Geoglyph" along with the red quest marker, the player can take a photograph that will satisfy the stable keeper.
After jumping off the short hill, the player can glide back to the New Serenne Stable. Upon arrival, they can interact with the picture frame once again and present Sprinn with the photo of the Geoglyph. Sprinn is delighted with the player's ability to capture such a detailed image of the mysterious marking in a single shot. As a token of appreciation, he paints a reproduction of the photo to hang in the stable. In return, Link is rewarded with 1 Pony Point and a delectable Bright Tomato Mushroom Stew, marking the completion of the quest "A Picture for New Serenne Stable."
