The highly anticipated patch 1.2.0 for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has recently been released. Despite being on the market for just a few months, this game has captured the hearts of numerous Switch owners. It has garnered widespread praise for its enhancements to the concepts and game world introduced in Breath of the Wild. However, as is typical for many games, regular updates are necessary to maintain balance, enhance the gaming experience, and address any bugs that may impact gameplay.
While certain exploits and errors can sometimes provide a comical experience, there are instances where they significantly alter the game's difficulty, making it either too challenging or too easy. One notable exploit in Tears of the Kingdom allows players to obtain an infinite number of items, which can disrupt the intended gameplay experience. While previous patches have addressed most of these glitches, it is not uncommon for new updates to inadvertently introduce new problems. Fortunately, the latest 1.2.0 patch resolves some of these issues as well.
Update 1.2.0 brings various undisclosed fixes that are expected to enhance the gameplay experience of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Players will be pleased to know that a solution has been provided for those who were unable to advance past a specific point in certain main quests. Numerous quests were impacted by this issue, but after installing the patch, players will now be able to continue their journey. Moreover, launching the game through specific Switch News channels will grant players in-game rewards as a token of appreciation.
While the aforementioned fixes were the most noteworthy changes in the update, the lack of clarity in the patch notes may leave players uncertain about other alterations made in the game. One significant glitch in Tears of the Kingdom enables Link to pass through the map when using the Ancient Blade. While these issues are not very common, they still occur occasionally, causing frustration for players, and it appears that Update 1.2.0 did not address these problems.
Nevertheless, despite the current issues in the game, Tears of the Kingdom continues to dominate sales charts. Numerous Switch owners are eager to explore the new areas in Hyrule and uncover hidden secrets, glitches, and creations. Players will have to wait to discover the improvements that future patches may bring to the game. However, for now, Zelda fans appear to be thoroughly enjoying the game, despite its flaws.
