As Link embarks on his journey to rescue Zelda and Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, he will come across a host of interesting characters who task him with side quests and adventures, often promising a reward upon completion. One such character is Kodah, whom Link encounters in the Zora Domain, and who sends him on a mission to uncover a mysterious, blessed stone in the "True Treasure" side quest. Successfully completing this quest leads Link to an ancient shrine, and here's how Tears of the Kingdom players can start the "True Treasure" side quest.
True Treasure Quest Walkthrough
Players can trigger the "True Treasure" quest in two ways. The first method is only available after finishing the Sidon of the Zora main quest and successfully restoring Zora's Domain. Once the main quest is completed, players can make their way to the local Inn where they will find Kodah stationed at the back (3295, 0511, 0140). Kodah informs Link about an ancient text that speaks of a blessed stone, which is located inside a shrine at Tarm Point. To add to this, Kodah's daughter Finley and her friend Sasan have already set out on a mission to unearth the treasure.
Head southeast of Zora's Domain towards the coast of Lodrum Headland to reach Tarm Point (4476, 0830, 0046). Once there, locate the entrance to a cave next to a small lake where Sasan can be found. The entrance to the cave is a hole in the ground.
Sasan informs Link that Finley is on a small island across the cave's lake, but he is unable to reach her due to the fluctuating water levels that cause the rocks to obstruct his path. To overcome this obstacle, Link can collect wooden sticks and Korok Fronds near the water's edge on the right and combine them using the Fuse ability to create a makeshift fan.
Use the Ultrahand ability to move the raft into the water and instruct Sasan to get on board. To propel the raft forward, utilize the Korok and stick fusion to create a gust of wind against the sail. As the water level rises, navigate the raft over the submerged rocks swiftly, pausing as the water recedes. Continue this process throughout the cave, keeping a keen eye on the water level.
Once the raft reaches the vicinity of Finley's island, Link and Sasan will disembark. Sasan will be reunited with Finley and they will express their gratitude to Link by presenting him with two Opals, thereby fulfilling the "Treasure True" side quest. Additionally, players can explore the Yomizuk Shrine located inside the cave, which is a blessing shrine that does not involve any puzzles. Inside the shrine, players can acquire a Diamond and a Light of Blessing. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is currently available on the Nintendo Switch.
