In the game "Tears of the Kingdom," the disappearance of Princess Zelda has become a popular topic in Hyrule. As part of the quest series called "Potential Princess Sightings," players can earn the Froggy Armor set by teaming up with Penn, an investigative journalist from the Rito tribe. Penn searches the local stables in Hyrule for any information about the Princess's whereabouts. At each stable, players can meet up with Penn, who will provide the latest updates on the quest.

Usually, Penn can be easily found outside each stable, engaging in conversations with himself. However, at Dueling Peaks Stable, Penn may be a bit more difficult to locate. Here is where players can find Penn and begin the quest "Princess Zelda Kidnapped?!" at Dueling Peaks Stable in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Penn’s Location at Dueling Peaks Stable

Dueling Peaks Stable can be found at coordinates (1748, -1921, 0010), situated on the eastern side of the magnificent Dueling Peaks mountains and directly northwest of the Rabella Wetlands Skyview Tower. Should the player have already discovered the Eshos Shrine, they have the option to swiftly travel to this particular location, arriving just west of the stable. This travel method serves as the most convenient and efficient way to reach Penn, who can be found at Dueling Peaks Stable.

Penn can be found at the Dueling Peaks Stable, specifically on the horse-shaped head of the tower on the roof. The coordinates to locate Penn are (1758, -1925, 0040). If the player has fast-traveled to Eshos Shrine, they can easily glide west from the high cliff to land on the stable's roof and meet Penn.

Alternatively, if the player has not yet discovered Eshos Shrine and has arrived at the stable on foot, they will need to reach the top of the roof from the ground. To do this, the player can choose one of the following methods to reach Penn atop the Dueling Peaks Stable:

Climb The Stable & Use Ascend

Head over to the eastern side of the stable where the horses are kept. Climb onto the bales of hay positioned behind the horses and jump onto the roof of the tent above them. Alternatively, you can reach the top of the stable by climbing the crates nearby. Once on the tented roof, position yourself underneath the head of the towering horse sculpture. Utilize the Ascend ability to ascend to the very top and locate Penn.

Create An Updraft & Glide

In order to reach Penn at the top of the Dueling Peaks Stable, players can create an updraft to gain enough height for their paraglider. One way to accomplish this is by selecting a Hylian Pine Cone from their inventory and placing it into a nearby cooking pot where it will ignite a fire.

To ignite the pine cone instead of cooking it, the player should drop it nearby and then strike it with a melee weapon to send it flying into the fire. This action will create a significant updraft, allowing the player to jump into it, unfurl their paraglider, and soar up to Penn's whereabouts.

After successfully reaching Penn, the player can engage in a conversation with him to initiate the quest titled "Princess Zelda Kidnapped?!"

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available for the Nintendo Switch.
