After her husband, Tim Rosenman, expressed worries about her weight loss, Whitney Port is making efforts to prioritize her health. In an episode of her podcast, "With Whit," the 38-year-old shared with her listeners that she is considering a holistic approach to self-care and making positive changes to her eating habits. Port also mentioned her recent Instagram post addressing her weight and revealed her proactive thinking and planning towards creating a sustainable lifestyle that does not overwhelm her with unnecessary pressure.
Port admitted that in the past, she has struggled to maintain a consistent and healthy routine. She shared that during a recent walk with a friend, she received the contact information for a nutritionist who specializes in eating disorders.
"I haven't fully accepted that I have an eating disorder," she explained, noting that her problem stems more from laziness and being selective about food rather than anything else. "I often go hungry and simply don't care. However, I do recognize that this constitutes disordered eating, which is neither acceptable nor healthy."
Port admitted that she is aware of "clearly neglecting my body's nutritional needs," but she made a commitment to improving her connection with food. "I intend to seek guidance from a professional to identify my preferences and ensure they take precedence," she explained. "Additionally, I will make a conscious effort to engage in physical activity."
Whitney Port recently shared that her husband, Tim Rosenman, expressed concern about her health after receiving comments about her being too thin. In an Instagram Story on July 24, Port mentioned that initially, the comments didn't bother her as she assumed people were unaware of her diet. However, Rosenman brought it to her attention and expressed genuine worry for her well-being.
Port admitted she hadn't been consciously thinking about her weight. She emphasized that she eats to sustain herself rather than indulging in food. Nonetheless, after weighing herself, she had a realization. She clarified that achieving a certain weight isn't her aim. Despite feeling hungry, she struggles with deciding what to eat. Port expressed her desire to not only change her appearance but also improve her overall well-being.
During that period, she made a promise to her fans that she would make a conscious effort to enhance her habits and serve as a positive influence for her 5-year-old son, Sonny.
The ex-reality star discussed her selective eating habits in an episode of a podcast on August 1. She revealed that her time filming The Hills had a negative impact on her body image, leading to issues with control. She emphasized the importance of reflecting on her appearance, not just in terms of weight.
