Crunchyroll announced on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, that it will be streaming the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime OVA on its platform later this month. Titled Coleus' Dream, the OVA has an official trailer released by Crunchyroll.

This story takes place between the first and second seasons of the mainline series and served as a significant source of inspiration for the Scarlet Bond film.Confirmed by Crunchyroll, the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime OVA will be streamed as a simulcast release. It will be accessible on their platform at 11 am Pacific Daylight Time on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. The release will coincide with the broadcast premiere of the OVA on Japanese network television.
Atsushi Nakayama is coming back as the director of the OVA at 8-Bit studios. Toshizo Nemoto will handle the series composition, while Roma Ebata will once again be responsible for character design. Takahiro Kishida will return to design the monsters. Moreover, Hitoshi Fujima, who previously worked on the Scarlet Bond film, will be composing the music for the OVA.

However, Yuuki, the Grandmaster of the Free Union, requests Rimuru's help in uncovering the truth behind the race for the throne in the Kingdom of Coleus, which lies between Engrassia and the Holy Empire of Lubelius.
