For a limited time, players of World of Warcraft will have the opportunity to explore an expanded stock of items at the Trading Post and earn additional Trader's Tenders. This new stock includes rewards from past expansions and events, as well as items that were previously unavailable to players for an extended period.
Although the Trading Post has been well-received by World of Warcraft players, a recent datamine suggested that the Trader's Tender currency could potentially be introduced as a microtransaction in the Blizzard Store in the future. While Blizzard has not officially commented on this datamined information regarding the Trading Post, some players have expressed concern for the future of the Trading Post if this were to happen. Whether or not Blizzard will announce such a change remains uncertain, but in the meantime, World of Warcraft players can look forward to new Trading Post items and activities in the near future.
During July and August, players of World of Warcraft can find rare items available for purchase with Trader's Tenders at the Trading Post. One of these items is the Spectral Tiger Cub, which was previously only obtainable through a World of Warcraft TCG item code and can now be acquired for 750 Trader's Tenders. Additionally, the Alliance's Alabaster Stormtalon mount and the Horde's Alabaster Thunderwing mount, which were initially included in the World of Warcraft 18th Anniversary Bundle last year, will also be available at the Trading Post.
Players can earn a new Dragonriding mount called the Grotto Netherwing Drake and receive 200 additional Trader's Tenders by accumulating 1000 Traveler's Log points throughout July. These points can be earned by participating in various tasks such as the Midsummer Fire Festival and the Auction House Dance Party.
In July, some previously available Trading Post items will reappear, including the Filigreed Lion's Maw shield and the Fists of Polar Fury weapon. Furthermore, players who missed the Diablo 4 crossover event in World of Warcraft will have another opportunity to obtain the Tyrael's Charger mount for 900 Trader's Tenders. This mount was initially a preorder reward for Diablo 3 and was temporarily obtainable by World of Warcraft players in 2012.
July's Trader's Log is curiously absent of activities pertaining to the much-anticipated Fractures in Time content update. However, World of Warcraft enthusiasts can still look forward to a plethora of engaging activities to keep them entertained all summer long. Experience the enchanting realm of Azeroth today on PC.
