Players of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can discover a range of captivating side quests while traversing Hyrule in their quest to locate Princess Zelda and resolve the Kingdom's various issues. Link will find himself engaged in diverse activities such as investigating monster rumors, repairing damaged wagons, and exploring ancient relics.
One particularly enjoyable series of side quests in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom revolves around the Goron Theme Park known as "Mine-Cart Land." Located at the Southern Mine and overseen by three brothers, Mine-Cart Land offers multiple exhilarating courses for patrons to conquer, along with three unique archery challenges. This guide will provide details on the ultimate course, an adrenaline-filled descent starting from the Peak of Death Mountain.
How to Unlock the Side Quest
Mine-Cart Land Death Mountain
To unlock this Side Quest, players must first complete the previous pair of courses. This achievement will inspire Kabetta to introduce the exciting Death Mountain Course. However, before embarking on any of the Mine-Cart Land Side Quests, players must fulfill the main quest called "Yunobo of Goron City" and resolve the crisis of the Marbled Rock Roast in Goron City. Only then will the brothers be able to operate their attraction freely.
Having finished the Quickshot Course, players are required to proceed towards the Summit of Death Mountain to meet up with Kabetta and undertake the course. If they have previously visited Sitsum Shrine, players can conveniently teleport to it and subsequently employ Ascend to ascend to the platform where Kabetta eagerly awaits their arrival.
Kabetta will explain that the objective is to hit 8 targets while riding in his cart down Death Mountain. He also mentions that failing to reach the bottom in time will lead to a loss, but players would need to manually stop the cart for this to be a concern.
Similar to the Quickshot Course, players struggling to hit the targets should wait until the cart is nearby to minimize arrow drop-off and increase their chances of success. If they continue to struggle, they may want to use the Gerudo Bow for its precise zoom feature. Thankfully, there are plenty of additional targets on this course, so players can still win even if they miss a few shots.
