"Secrets Within" Side Quest Reward
In Tears of the Kingdom, players will find themselves immersed in a plethora of activities, from engaging in the main story, Shrines of Light, to embarking on various side quests. One such side quest, known as "Secrets Within," awaits those who venture into Tarrey Town.
While "Secrets Within" may not boast the same level of narrative depth as another Tarrey Town side quest, it presents an intriguing utilization of the Zonai Dispensers. Players who have already encountered the Zonai Dispenser on the Great Sky Island during the tutorial mode will be familiar with its mechanics. However, delving into the "Secrets Within" side quest offers an opportunity to showcase the dispensers' capabilities, potentially leading Link to a modest reward.
How to Unlock "Secrets Within" Side Quest?
- By gliding down from the top of the nearby cliffs.
- By climbing up the ladder located on the southern side of the site.
- By using the Zora Armor and swimming up the river from the south.
Once at the site, players can approach Pulcho and initiate a conversation with him to obtain the quest "Secrets Within".
By launching from the Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower (3493, 2019, 0188).
If players have completed the "Rock for Sale" Shrine Quest, they can travel from the Jochi-ihiga Shrine instead.
Finally, there's the Rasitakiwak Shrine, which is on a hill overlooking Tarrey Town at 4166, 1323, 0229.
"Secrets Within" Walkthrough
To initiate the "Secrets Within" side quest in TotK, players should approach Pulcho and request its addition to the Adventure Log. The quest can be easily completed by approaching the Zonai Dispenser and inserting a Zonai Charge, which will result in the machine releasing capsules containing Zonai Devices.
Open the inventory with (+) and tab over to the Materials page.
Select a Zonai Charge (optional: select up to five) and exit out of the menu.
Press the A-button adjacent to the dispenser to deposit them.
Zonai Dispensers are primarily located on the Sky Islands, although a few can also be found on The Surface and even in The Depths. Each Zonai Dispenser produces unique Zonai Devices. To add the dispenser's inventory to their map, players need to interact with the Zonai Dispenser and obtain one of each Device.
Here are all the Zonai Devices obtained from the dispenser at the Hudson Construction Site:
Fan
Small Wheel
Balloon
Big Wheel
Rocket
Steering Stick
Where to Find Zonai Charges
Players can acquire Zonai Charges from Zonai Constructs in the event that they do not possess any. These adversaries can be encountered on The Surface, specifically in close proximity to ruins or on the Sky Islands. Additionally, they serve as the main adversaries within the four Temples. By defeating a Zonai Construct, players will obtain a single regular-sized Zonai Charge.
An alternative method of acquiring Zonai Charges is by examining inactive Zonai Constructs. Moreover, larger Zonai Charges can occasionally be obtained as rewards from treasure chests in the "Rauru's Blessing" Shrines.
If players possess Zonaite that they wish to trade, they have the option to visit either the Zonai Mines located in The Depths or the Zonai Mines on the Great Sky Island. There, they can engage in trade with the Steward Construct, who is situated near the forge. Additionally, players may acquire Large Zonai Charges through this trade. However, it is important to note that this method of obtaining Zonai Charges is not recommended due to the fact that Zonaite can be traded for Crystallized Charges, which are essential for enhancing the Zonai Battery's capabilities.
In gratitude, Pulcho presents Link with a Sundelion as a token of appreciation. He proceeds to inform Link about the Zonai Dispensers located in Kakariko Village and the one near Digdogg Bridge. Furthermore, Pulcho advises Link to ensure that all the Zonai Devices are retrieved from the machine before departing, as he himself will not be collecting them.
Sundelions have the amazing ability to uplift one's mood and can be used in various dishes to cure feelings of sadness. When cooked in a batch of five, they can replenish up to 15 hearts that have been affected by the gloom. Additionally, these vibrant flowers are essential for completing the following side quests:
- Mattison's Independence (requires 10 Sundelions)
Gloom-Borne Illness (x1 Sundelion)
