How to StartFind the Fragmented Hakkari Bijou
In the original version of World of Warcraft before expansions were introduced, raids were known as some of the toughest and most inaccessible challenges within the game. These missions demanded not only impeccable communication and strategic planning from players, but also necessitated a massive group of 40 individuals to successfully complete them. However, for a considerable number of players, locating and assembling a team of 40 adequately equipped individuals was an incredibly arduous task, if not entirely unachievable.
To enhance accessibility, Blizzard unveiled Zul'Gurub, a 20-man raid, on September 22nd, 2005. However, when the pre-patch for Cataclysm was launched, the original Zul'Gurub raid was removed from the game and replaced with an updated dungeon version. Similar to Naxxramas, numerous gear and recipes became unattainable. Nevertheless, in Dragonflight, World of Warcraft players can now unearth these elusive recipes and items by unraveling the secrets of Zul'Gurub.
How to Start
To delve into the mysteries of Zul'Gurub, players must first reach level 70 with any class. Once this requirement is met, they can embark on their journey to unlock the secrets of Zul'Gurub. Located in Stranglethorn Vale, the entrance to Zul'Gurub awaits eager adventurers. After entering the dungeon, make your way toward the central temple within the instance.
Instead of ascending the staircase where the encounter with Jin'do takes place, take a right turn and circumnavigate the perimeter of the temple to discover a doorway that grants entry into a chamber. Inside this chamber, a resonant gong awaits. Adjacent to the gong, on the floor's left side, lies a diminutive object that can be manipulated, rewarding you with a Shattered Hakkari Bijou.
Find the Fragmented Hakkari Bijou
Next, to spawn Jin'do at the top of the temple, players must defeat two bosses. It is irrelevant which bosses are killed in the process. However, it is worth mentioning that both High Priestess Kilnara and Bloodlord Mandokir have a chance of dropping mounts. Therefore, if players do not possess either of these mounts, it might be a good idea to focus on defeating these two bosses. Unlike Valiance in Naxxramas, there are no special requirements or challenges to obtain these mounts other than pure luck.
After defeating two bosses, proceed to the highest point of the temple and engage in a battle with Jin'do. As soon as the second phase initiates, descend back to the room where the gong is located. In the precise location previously mentioned, there exists an object that can be interacted with in order to obtain a Fragmented Hakkari Bijou.
Players have two choices at this stage: they can either use their Hearthstone to teleport out of the instance or they can proceed with the boss fight and destroy Hakkar's Chains at the temple's summit. To destroy the chains, players must provoke a Gurubashi Spirit, lead it to the chain, and wait for it to execute a Body Slam. This will break the protective barrier around the chain, allowing it to be destroyed. Players must repeat this process three times to successfully complete the dungeon.
Regardless of the option chosen, players can then combine the Shattered Hakkari Bijou and Fragmented Hakkari Bijou, resulting in the creation of a Restored Hakkari Bijou. This item initiates a quest that requires players to locate someone to whom they can give the bijou.
Find Rin'Wosho the Trader
To complete this quest, head to Dazar'alor in Zuldazar and seek out Rin'Wosho. Look for him in a building labeled "The Yojamba Exchange". If you're having trouble locating him, refer to the image provided. Rin'Wosho will happily accept the Bijou and turning it in will mark the completion of the quest, granting players access to the hidden knowledge of Zul'Gurub.
Once the secrets of Zul'Gurub have been revealed, Rin'Wosho will move to a new location. From now on, you can find him inside Zul'Gurub on the right side of the stairs.
After completing this quest, players will unlock a vast range of ancient Zul'Gurub recipes and ensembles. These valuable items can be obtained by purchasing them with Hakkari Bijous. Originally, Bijous were items obtained from the 20-man version of Zul'Gurub. Players used to destroy them to earn reputation with the Zandalari. However, Bijous are now account-bound currency that can be looted from bosses within Zul'Gurub.
Players will need to run Zul'Gurub multiple times in order to obtain all the recipes and ensembles from Rin'Wosho, as there are only a limited number of bosses in the dungeon. Thankfully, heroic dungeons have a shorter cooldown period of 24 hours instead of a week. World of Warcraft is currently accessible on PC.
