While Netflix's live-action adaptation of One Piece will not run for that duration, there is speculation about the possibility of a second season.
Netflix premiered its highly-anticipated live-action version of the beloved anime Cowboy Bebop on November 19th, 2021. Unfortunately, on December 9th, 2021, Netflix announced the cancellation of the series due to widespread criticism. The village liar, Usopp, claims that he can arrange a meeting with the ship's owner, a sickly girl named Kaya. The Straw Hats attend a luxurious dinner, where they uncover the deceitful intentions of Kaya's butler. As expected, the butler is revealed to be a murderous pirate disguised in her service. The crew emerges victorious in the confrontation, leading Kaya to entrust them with the ship. They christen it the Going Merry and set sail with Usopp as their newest member.

Just as Garp is about to seize the Straw Hat crew, a courageous Marine named Koby rises up and insists on allowing Luffy to escape. Luffy's unwavering determination and influence on Koby encourage him to fiercely fight for his freedom. Reluctantly, Garp decides to release his grandson. Luffy's daring exploits earn him a Wanted poster, filling him with overwhelming excitement and pride. As the Straw Hat pirates sail off into the enchanting sunset, they enthusiastically share their dreams for the future. As a final twist, a Marine Captain callously sets fire to Luffy's poster with a cigar.
Will Netflix's One Piece have a season 2?
