In the game Tears of the Kingdom, players can help Hudson Construction employee Addison prop up signs, though some players find it repetitive and tiresome.
Signal-Put932, a player, maliciously tampered with Addison's sign utilizing a makeshift device consisting of a wooden plank and rockets. Consequently, the sign was propelled into outer space, thus causing significant disruption.
In contrast, while certain players hold animosity towards Addison's mini-games, individuals such as raish_lakish exhibit admirable commitment by constructively establishing a shelter for Addison to safeguard him from the impending danger posed by monsters.
A frustrated Zelda player in Tears of the Kingdom takes a dramatic stand against Addison and his annoying signs. This clip will surely resonate with players who dislike dealing with Addison's signs, and there are plenty of gamers who share this sentiment.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild introduced a memorable side quest known as "From the Ground Up." It was the game's longest and involved Link assisting a construction worker named Hudson in building a new settlement called Tarrey Town. This side quest offered various paths to explore, but upon completion, players couldn't help but feel a great sense of accomplishment. In Tears of the Kingdom, Hudson returns and has since founded his own company, Hudson Construction, over the past five years. During Link's latest adventure, he will encounter a dedicated employee of Hudson Construction named Addison from time to time.
Players who come across Addison will have to help him by propping up a Hudson Construction sign, giving him a break. These physics-based puzzles are scattered throughout Hyrule in Tears of the Kingdom, and while some players enjoy them, others, like Reddit User Signal-Put932, find them frustrating. In a Reddit clip, Signal-Put932 disrupts Addison's attempt to hold up the sign by using a plank of wood fused with two rockets. The clip shows the player aligning the contraption below the sign and shooting it with an arrow. Right before the contraption launches into the air, the player talks to Addison, expressing their intention to support the sign. However, the moment Addison agrees, the contraption takes off into space, taking the sign with it.
Tears of the Kingdom offers a plethora of puzzles throughout Hyrule. Every shrine the player enters presents a puzzle, and there are also various Korok puzzles scattered around. With so many different kinds of puzzles in the game, it's understandable why some players would grow tired of repeatedly assisting Addison with his signs, especially considering there are nearly 50 signs to prop up.
Not all game fans despise Addison's mini-games; in fact, a Reddit user called raish_lakish went the extra mile to construct a shelter for Addison to protect him from nearby monsters. It remains to be seen whether this committed employee of Hudson Construction will be adored by the Zelda community or become a despised NPC that constantly gets bothered. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can be enjoyed on the Nintendo Switch.
