Unveiling the Enchanting Realm: Mastering Zelda's Tears of the Kingdom - The Ultimate Quest Walkthrough

The quest "Supply-Eyeing Fliers" can be found in the South Tabantha Snowfield, just off the road south of the Snowfield Stable. To unlock this quest, players must first clear the Wind Temple and complete the quest "Tulin of Rito Village" in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

To reach the quest area, players can teleport to either the Orochium Shrine, located near the stable and slightly north of the quest area, or the Nouda Shrine, which is closer to the destination but underground in a cave. Another option is to fast-travel to the Pikida Stonegrove Skyview Tower and glide southward. Please note that the map below only indicates the shrines for reference and they are not directly involved in the Tears of the Kingdom quest.

To reach the Tabantha Hills region, the player must make their way through the Snowfield by following the road. It's important to be prepared for the intense cold in this area, either by equipping suitable armor or using cold resistance consumables. As the road veers into hilly terrain on both sides, the player should ascend a small stone hill located to the east of the road.

Adjacent to the road stands a petite edifice adorned with two stone statues, serving as an indication of a Korok puzzle. This serves as the juncture where the player ought to deviate from the road. The designated destination can be found at the coordinates (-2172, 2027, 0363), situated atop the tallest hill. Atop the summit, a signal fire emits its luminous flames, thereby allowing the player to ascertain their accurate course by observing the billowing smoke.

To solve the Korok puzzle, proceed a short distance ahead on the road until you come across a stack of wooden planks. Utilize the Ultrahand to seize the largest plank, then make your way back to the statues. Position the plank on top of the wooden frame, forming a protective overhead structure for the statues.

Once reaching the hilltop, the player will come across Huck, a frustrated Rito gazing at the sky. Huck has been attempting to transport supplies from Snowfield Stable to Rito Village, but his progress has been impeded by flying monsters that stole the supplies. These monsters are a group of three Aerocudas circling his camp at a high altitude.

Huck is uncertain about how Link, who lacks the ability to fly, can be of assistance. However, Link proves to be resourceful due to his newfound abilities. Unfortunately, there are no Skyview Towers or Sky Islands nearby from which Link can glide and dive to reach and eliminate the monsters. Nevertheless, there are two methods that the player can utilize in order to vanquish the troublesome Aerocudas and reclaim the stolen supplies.

One method, which is both simple and effective, involves utilizing the new Fuse ability in Tears of the Kingdom. This unique mechanic enables Link to fuse various monster parts and materials with weapons and arrows, granting him added advantages in combat. To easily defeat the Aerocudas, it is recommended to fuse a Keese Eyeball with an arrow. To do this, the player needs to draw the bow and then press up on the D-Pad to select the desired item for fusion. After successfully fusing a Keese Eyeball onto an arrow, Link can aim directly at any of the Aerocudas above and release the arrow. For even greater impact, Link can also make use of Aerocuda Eyeballs to achieve the same outcome.

The enemy can be targeted and defeated effortlessly by using the fused arrow, which is guided by the Keese Eyeball. One of the advantages of this method is that it does not require a specific type of Keese Eyeball or bow, and Link does not need to aim accurately. This approach is undoubtedly the simplest way to accomplish the quest, as long as the player possesses Keese Eyeballs.

The second method involves using a Hylian Pine Cone, which is considered a "secret weapon" as it can create a powerful updraft when set on fire. To execute this strategy, the player needs to take a Hylian Pine Cone from their inventory and drop it into Huck's campfire. This will cause a significant updraft to form. With the updraft aiding his ascent, Link can then deploy his paraglider and soar high into the sky, getting closer to the Aerocudas. While airborne, Link can aim his bow more effectively by slowing down his descent. One way to achieve this is by using a Keese Eyeball. However, if the player has an ample supply of Keese Eyeballs, it's advisable for Link to remain on the ground in the first place rather than taking to the skies.

Defeating the Aerocudas will not provide any unique quest items for Link to collect; instead, only standard monster parts will be obtained. After conquering all three Aerocudas, players can approach Huck, who will express immense gratitude and reward Link with 50 Rupees.
