World of Warcraft fans are frustrated that the new Blood Troll transmog reward from the Trading Post doesn't look right on actual Troll characters.
The bloody paint on the feet of Troll characters stops abruptly at the ankle, unlike humanoid races such as Humans and Elves.
The Bones of the Bloodhunter transmog set has a graphical glitch with the belt, which is improperly attached to the leg portion for all races except Humans. Hopefully, these problems will be resolved soon.
The Blood Troll transmog reward from the Trading Post in World of Warcraft does not appear visually appealing on Troll characters, causing frustration among fans. This issue has dampened the excitement players have for this cosmetic set. The Trading Post offers a monthly free reward for players who earn the complete Trader's Tender allowance by completing Traveler's Log tasks. In the catalog for August, the Trading Post features the Bones of the Bloodhunter transmog ensemble, which is a creepy set inspired by the Blood Trolls from the Battle for Azeroth expansion.
However, World of Warcraft fans have noticed a discrepancy when it comes to the foot accessories for Troll characters. While the bloody paint that is supposed to cover their feet appears correctly on races with more humanoid feet, such as Humans and Elves, it mysteriously does not show up on regular Trolls and the Zandalari Allied Race. The red coloration abruptly ends at the ankle, leaving out this essential feature that would allow players to fully replicate the iconic appearance of the Blood Trolls of Nazmir. Despite an otherwise near-perfect recreation of their aesthetic, this missing detail has been pointed out by dedicated fans in the World of Warcraft community.
Unfortunately, the reason for this graphical error is quite simple. Foot armor worn by non-humanoid races in World of Warcraft, such as Tauren, Draenei, and Trolls, does not render properly, except for a few exceptions like Blood Troll NPCs. These NPCs have unique models that allow the bloody paint to appear on their feet, but player models are not programmed to do the same.
Additionally, there is another graphical glitch with the Bones of the Bloodhunter transmog set. The belt model is incorrectly linked to the leg portion of the set for all races except Humans. This means that non-human players who want to use just the belt or mix and match the transmog ensemble cannot do so easily, as it will appear incomplete or glitched. Unlike the Troll feet issue, this is likely an actual bug and will hopefully be fixed soon.
Fans are understandably disappointed with this unfortunate aspect of the Blood Troll set as it was primarily designed for Trolls but fails to fully accommodate them. However, players have already begun creating impressive outfits for both Troll and non-Troll characters utilizing these cosmetics. It is hoped that World of Warcraft will address this glitch and rectify it so that Trolls can fully enjoy the entirety of this new ensemble. World of Warcraft is currently accessible for PC users.
