Isisim Shrine Location in TotK
In order to fully explore the vast world of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players must embark on a quest to discover all of the hidden shrines. One of these shrines, the Isisim Shrine, is buried deep within the caves of the Eldin region, eagerly awaiting discovery by brave adventurers.
Players can find the Isisim Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom just east of the YunoboCo HQ at the foot of Death Mountain.
To reach the shrine with the utmost speed, it is recommended to commence the journey from the Marakugac Shrine located in Goron City and proceed northward without any diversions. The shrine is nestled within the YunoboCo HQ East Cave, which can be accessed at the coordinates 1762, 2830, 0399.
Accessing the cave requires players to overcome a barrier of marbled red rocks that can only be shattered with the formidable Power of Fire possessed by Yunobo. However, this ability can only be obtained by advancing to a certain stage in the main quest titled "Yunobo of Goron City".
Inside the cave, Link will be subjected to extreme heat and a couple of Horriblins, so it is wise to be prepared.
Following the cave deeper and to the right, players will find a large pile of breakable rocks with the tip of the shrine poking out of the top.
Players can break their way through the rocks using any method they like to reach the Isisim Shrine buried below.
Isisim Shrine Walkthrough
Players who are looking for a challenging experience will enjoy the shrine's "Proving Grounds: In Reverse" challenge. This particular challenge requires players to fight their way through multiple constructs using only the equipment that is provided. Upon entering the room, players will have access to a shield and a limited selection of weapons to aid them in their battle.
The challenge revolves around utilizing Link's Recall ability to manipulate the gears and access higher levels of the shrine. Additionally, the constructs within the shrine will hurl Zonai Time Bombs at the player, which can be deflected back at them using the same ability.
There are two different gears that players can use to ascend to the higher platforms to defeat the five constructs scattered throughout.
The time bombs can also be used to break the stone blocks within the shrine.
Doing so can reveal useful objects to fuse to Link's weapons and assist in combat.
Upon emerging victorious against the foes within the shrine, Link will have his equipment restored and gain access to the ultimate chamber. Inside, players can acquire a coveted Magic Rod from the treasure chest and receive a sacred Light of Blessing from the statue.
